"Second stay at this place and probably the last. Staff are kind, but rooms ('standard', 'cozy') are so small that 1 trolley doesn't fit! Can you imagine a brand new 4* hotel where you can't open your bag due to lack of space? Soundproofness doesn't exist - we could hear every person passing by, each door opening or child screaming, not to speak about neighbors' bathroom. Breakfast below Greek standards - very limited vegetarian options and healthy choices; peanut butter low quality with palm oil, coffee payable and no fresh orange juice. No body lotion- even if you call reception. There are so many great options in the town, no need to go back to Naus."

"The hotel is only a three-star hotel. We went to Nafplio on a weekend, and there were no rooms in other hotels during the whole trip. In the end, we had to book this hotel. "Beautiful inn and in a stunning location. The inn was charming and perfectly located to explore old town Nafplio or, within, 20 minutes easily be at the beach within town and close to the public parking. The room decor was on point and the bed was comfy. The pull out couch bed for our children was less so but they didn’t give it too much thought. The staff were friendly and they stocked our room with water, wine, chocolate and other goodies. We would definitey come back for a return visit if we are ever in Nafplio."

"highly recommended! The location is very good, right next to Constitution Square. There is an orange shop downstairs, and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The house is an old house, but the decoration is new and modern, and the quality and taste are online. The minibar is good and the linen is very comfortable. After looking at the whole set, they are all from the big Greek brand COCO-MAT. Breakfast is a self-selected menu. The quantity is not large but the quality is not bad. Nafplio is rich in oranges and the orange juice is delicious. This is our first time staying in a B&B. This B&B has completely overturned our impression of B&Bs. The linen in particular is amazing. Generally speaking, if you don’t have too high requirements for breakfast, the standard of this B&B exceeds that of many international brand chain business hotels. , basically can reach four-star level. In addition, because it is in the center of the old city, parking is not allowed in the small street next to the apartment. You need to park in the port parking lot or a larger roadside parking space nearby (there is no charge for parking in the old city), but it is not too much to walk over with your suitcase. Far away and more convenient than most B&Bs on the hillside. (ps: The apartment has an elevator) In addition, if you have enough budget, there is a very good hotel in Nafplio, Nafplio Palace Hotel. When we booked it, we read some reviews saying that it was far from the old city and it was inconvenient to eat. We had to walk a deserted road back to the hotel at night, so we didn’t dare to book it. When I arrived, I found that the hotel had a good view and a dedicated parking garage. You could actually drive back and forth (the style and price of this Nafplio Palace can be compared to the Banyan Tree)."

"This is a terrific hotel - they make you feel like family from the time you arrive to the day of your departure. Location is excellent- perfectly situated in the center of town so you can either retreat to your room, or enjoy sitting at one of the cafes in the “piazza” at center of town, or take the 10 minute walk to sit in a cafe or restaurant on the water. Breakfast at the restaurant is excellent and includes some homemade goodies. First came here in 2016, thinking it wold be a one time visit, and have returned every year since since then. If you want a small, clean, friendly place in excellent location and good breakfast, this is it."

"You can't beat the location of Hotel Athena. Its central location makes getting to the restaurants and shops a breeze. As previous reviewers indicated, there are no elevators so you will have to carry your bags up the stairs. The rooms are extremely small but very tidy.
