"The hotel location and room cleanliness were the best
There was an ice machine, washing machine, dryer, microwave on each floor, etc.
Various amenities were well-equipped, and the small bathhouse on the second floor
was the best for relieving travel fatigue
It was nice that there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby
The staff spoke English, so it was very comfortable
and they were kind
The room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The bathroom was also a bit wider and more comfortable
It was nice that they gave me a quiet room as I requested, but on the last day, the fourth day
I had a hard time falling asleep because the next room and the room above were full and there was a lot of thumping all night
I don't think the soundproofing was good
Except for the noise on the last day, it was the best hotel to stay in
It was the best with the view of the snowy landscape of Nagano"
"Great location which is easy to find and quiet to stay! We have the 3 beds family room, which is very large enough to accompany all our suitcases! It is the biggest room I have ever stayed in Japan!!!
A bad thing is the washroom is small, and smelly. Also the hotel cannot keep baggage after check out.
I will stay again if I come to Nagano again!"

I was able to enjoy the night light up near the temple, the morning event the next morning and Zenko Ji Temple.
I was five aunts, but I was allowed to spend time like a friend's house."

Great
AAinoorConsistent service and offerings throughout the Sotetsu hotels across Japan. You check-in via the machine, pick up your amenities; they have the best and extensive range and go to your tiny room.
Location wise, it is next to a 3-level Don Quijote and connected to Nagano station via the foot bridge on the 2nd floor.
AAdella TungLocation is excellent. There's direct link bridge between the hotel and the Nagano station. So it's very easy to get to the train station with our luggage. We only stayed one night and Nagano is only our transit stop to other attractions. So we didn't manage to see much in Nagano. But we did notice that there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staffs are friendly but some don't speak much English.
DDemi.9.2Room was extremely worth it's pricing with the cleanliness and you could feel the exquisiteness of the hotel from entering through the main doors all the way to your room.
Walking distance to multiple interesting areas such as Zenkoji Temple and very pretty eateries around the area.
1 extremely disturbing thing was whereby 1 of the huge mirrors by the make up table was right infront of our beds which made my family and I have a paranoid night stay. Other wise everything was top tier!
GGuest UserI liked this inn very much, so it is the fourth repeater this time. Just beside Togakushi Jinja shrine, the meal is delicious, so I brought my mother this time. The meal at night was very delicious, but the breakfast was less than before and was not enough. Also, the room was on the second floor and the stairs were steep, so it seems that it was not very good for my mother.
GGuest UserThe room was fantastic – very spacious and impeccably clean. The service was excellent, and the hotel's location is super convenient for exploring the area. Breakfast was plentiful and came with a wonderful view. Overall, a really great hotel! I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Nagano.
GGuest UserGreat location, within 5-10 minutes walk from Nagano Train Station. Good amenities and service provided by the hotel. Friendly and professional hotel staff. Laundry room has 3 washing machines and 3 dryers that work well. Reception staff can provide change of 100yen coins for the laundry machines.
CcereresI booked hotel for short stay in Nagano. My main reason for travel was visiting Snow Monkey Park and exploring Nagano area, i used room only for sleeping and for this purpose it suited well. It located near station, just opposite side from bus stop to Snow Monkey Park, there is 7elevel just in the building next door. I was kinda sad that i couldn’t use hot bath, but i have tattoos and i expected that. Stuff was nice, i was allowed to leave my bags before check-in, room were pretty small, but this is what you expect from this type of accommodation. Overall can recommend
GGuest UserThe rooms are spacious and clean. The furniture may be dated, but it retains the authenticity of the Japanese vibe. The room view faces a mountain. The hotel also provides complimentary snacks and alcohol btw 9am to 11pm. Suitable for people who drive a car. Recommended if you prefer a peaceful and calm location.
WWei LeThis place is ~5mins walk from Zenkoji temple. neighborhood is peaceful at night.
Shoes to be removed outside the accommodation. Rooms are on the 2nd floor so you'll have to carry your luggage up (there's no lift).
Room (with window) is huge. You'll have to head downstairs to use the shared toilet and shared onsen (no toilet inside the room).
We were only allowed 30mins of onsen time for 2 pax - couples weren't allowed to use the onsen concurrently so we had to go one after another (i'm not sure if the instructions got lost in translation..). Felt very rushed so i didnt really get to enjoy the onsen experience, but overall was nice and clean.
Interesting 6.30am tour around the area and within the temple itself, followed by a simple vegetarian breakfast (porridge with omakase-styled sides with miso soup) back at the accommodation. The morning tour lasted from 6.30am - 8.30am.
The accommodation provided a fleece blanket to each pax to bring to Zenkoji temple to keep us warm during the morning praying ceremony. We went on 30 Dec and it was SO COLD.
Overall interesting experience but accommodation price is pretty steep IMO.
KKs TamThe location is great and it is well maintained. I stayed in the 4 beds female dorm, it was spacious. The bed was big with a little desk at one side of the bed for organising personal items. Each bed has their own charging pod. There are some limitations though: the lift can't be used so suitcases are moved up via staircase. I have to go down to the 2nd floor for the bathroom and toilet. I am not sure how many people are sharing them but I never need to wait an they are clean.
