We are a convenient 5 minute walk to the ocean (we are where the OBX narrows and are closer to the ocean than a lot of homes that are on the oceanside- we are on the soundside). Our home is packed with amenities to reduce what you have to pack, buy or rent. Our goal is to provide a home where most of the things you want are already here- we have been coming to the OBX for over 30 years and hated how most rentals you have so much to bring since the homes had limited amenities or things were old and damaged (we update house photos yearly so you know what to expect). We offer an inground saltwater pool (option to have pool heated for a fee), 7 person hot tub, game room with pool table, multicade arcade game, smart tv's & surround system, bikes, pool & beach amenities, tons of parking, just a bike ride away from many favorites (restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, Jockey's Ridge), less than 1/4 mile from the hospital. Ocean views from master bedroom and dining room & feel the amazing breezes from every deck. We mean what we say we want you to have an amazing experience with us as we don't wait until things are broken to replace them. Here are some of the things that make our home different:very clean home (seriously this is something we take very serious & take pride in and ensure our cleaning staff does a thorough clean after every guest checks out), tons of parking (Super important as you can't park on street in the Outer Banks), deck access from every bedroom (but don't worry decks have gates to ensure kids don't wonder off), pool and hot tub are gated, great air conditioning (have uv germicidal- no moldy smelling house here like so many beach homes), updated decorations/furnishings, comfortable beds (even the pull out couch has a gel mattress pad), comfortable linens & fluffy towels, fully stocked kitchen (with spices, coffee, non-perishable creamers, sweeteners, teas, etc), paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap at every sink-and not just a starter pack you won't need more while you are staying with us. And seriously I hate cheap products you will enjoy what we provide you. Blow dryers in every bathroom, Laundry detergent, 4 hammocks, 7 smart tvs, surround system on 1st & 3rd floor with speakers on outside decks and by pool, we go through home after every guest seeing if we need to replace things and disposing of broken/damaged things replacing them with new if needed. Additional amenities: 5 adult bikes, beach accessories(chairs, wagons, umbrellas, sand toys, cooler), beach towels, pool toys, horse shoes, yard size connect four, fire pit, grill, spa robes, and much more to ensure you enjoy your stay! Our home is in a neighborhood, Old Nags Head Cove. The community has great amenities as well: 2 soundside beaches, basketball & volleyball court, fishing pier and several fishing spots with benches, community pool, roads that lend themselves to walking or biking, water access - launching space for kayaks, paddleboards & canoe, boat ramp - community charges guests $40 per week to use boat ramp. Which included a brand new kitchen, new floors throughout, new showers, and new deck. Our philosophy is that if there's something we would need when staying there, our guests will need it too. You will find a kitchen completely stocked for cooking, baking, and grilling (with appliances, such as a split double oven convection range, a microwave, a crockpot, griddle, hand mixer, popcorn maker, rice maker, Keurig, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, etc.). Plus, access a variety of games, a sewing kit, a first aid kit, iron and ironing board, luggage racks, a chair in each bedroom, and many other amenities. After a long day enjoying all that the Outer Banks offers, you can sit back relax and watch shows on the 75" Smart TV. The home offers WiFi and the television is equipped with an Amazon Fire TV Stick, there is no cable television. The house sits on the main canal off the Albemarle Sound with a dock for fishing or boat tie-up. If you are a fishing fan (like us!), check out the fish table/cleaning station! Boat dock has electricity, water, and lighting. We provide fishing rods and a simple tackle box. The house also offers an enclosed outdoor shower, which in our opinion is the best part of any beach house. We also have an outdoor entertainment area underneath the house, excellent for Crab Feasts and other group activities. One of the main highlights is the view! Our place is walking distance to the beach and Nags Head Town Park . There are some hiking trails to the Albemarle sound. Dowdy Park is also close. We are located in walking/ biking distance to great local restaurants, ice cream shops, surf shops, coffee shops, grocery stores, antique stores, yoga studios, YMCA and much , much more. The walk to Barnes St beach Access is about a 10 - 15 min walk less on bikes .The spaceLost on Lost Colony has a great out door sitting area, relax with your coffee or tea in the morning. Coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and small refrigerator are available for your convenience. Great access to the beach or the park 10 minutes in either direction. We have bikes, umbrella, and beach chairs available for free (at your risk/responsibility) for your entire stay. We are close to SUP rentals and surf lessons. Art on the walls is done by all local artists, and is for sale upon request. You could park your car and walk or bike to most everything you need in Nags Head. We do live upstairs with the cats. We will either be at work or the beach most of the summer. We will be available to answer and questions you might have while staying in Nags Head.***Due to Covid-19, we like to let our guest know we are not industrial cleaners.
