Sharing my experience so that no one else suffers like we did. 1. Shady Cancellation Games: Agent from property called a day before MMT booking confirmation, citing “unreasonable” MMT discounts and pushed for direct booking. After we didn’t confirm, MMT rates jumped from ~₹56,000 to ₹76,000, leaving us stucked. 2. False Wheelchair-Friendly Claims: Booked via MakeMyTrip for 3 days, relying on the owner’s confirmation and website claiming wheelchair accessibility. Reality: Narrow entrance with ~10 stairs, completely inaccessible for my wheelchair-bound mother-in-law. 3. Greedy Payment Demands: Offered direct booking at ₹54,000 (just ₹2,000 less than MMT) but demanded 100% advance payment. Refused 1- or 2-day bookings, insisting on 3 nights with full upfront payment. 4. Last-Minute Cancellation: left with no other options, we booked 1 night via MMT, but the property is to cancel again before arrival. Caretaker ( Lalit) demanded full 3-night payment to secure the room, raising red flags. and threatened to bar entry without advance payment. Post we reached it was a nightmare. No parking, no wheelchair. Thank goodness we didn't make the advance payment. But this property should be de-listed from all platforms.
