Had the best stay in the hills after a very long time . Last year I covered Marriot Mussorie , savoy Mussorie , rokeby . Still I would rate blue book the best property out of all of them . I still can’t get over how the staff took care of us like family . The property is so well maintained . The delicious breakfast where everyone served us fresh food even when we got late for the breakfast . Without complaining they served everything with a smile and so much love . They also arranged barbecue and riverside high tea which was amazing . Just asked them casually if they could arrange maggi around the river even though it wasn’t in their menu . They arranged it for us . Every small thing was taken care of . Thank you blue book for this memorable stay and special shout out to the whole staff Manmohan , Himanshu , ajay , Mohit , Prakash , Chandan and Joydeep . Will definitely visit soon . The heritage resort is maintained well. The room tariff is off 7 star grade. The food ( breakfast / dinner) served is of limited menu definitely not commensurate with room tariff charged. Less staff are present and are unable to attend all the tables. Fruits (apple) served during breakfast were stale and probably refrigerated. They were changed on our request. The cutlery was also not properly washed. Except for the food, rest of the amenities were OK.

The property is very good, food is excellent. And what really stands out is the Service. All the staff members were prompt, ready to serve all the time, with a smile, consistently. Will love to revisit. One small improvement suggestion could be variety in breakfast menu, other than that ee loved our stay.

One of the best hill experiences we have had! Such a cozy, ambient, and beautiful property. The staff was beyond hospitable, looking after every need effortlessly. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, will definitely recommend the property to many others!

This heritage boutique hotel is located about 3 kms from Nainital on a hill . We were very warmly welcomed by the hotel manager and staff. It offers all the comforts of a modern hotel even though the building is around a 130 years old. Sadly this hotel is poorly maintained and needs to do a complete face lift. During our stay the pool was under maintenance. Apart from this, we found the rooms comfortable, our room (also called chapter) was perhaps the best as it came with a lovely terrace overlooking the valley. But stepping out of the room onto the terrace required some effort. The restaurant was well decorated and served good food. A bar and wine list were added pleasures. There are large outdoor spaces but are not being fully exploited. For example putting out several tables and chairs for meals outdoors would be a great idea. The parking lot too is just big enough for about 4 cars.( And there are about 10 rooms). The hotel also has an adjoining café where one could have lunch. High tea with sweets and sandwiches was also a highlight of this hotel . The staff were very friendly indeed and delivered sweets every evening to the room.
