"If you want spend a few days at Onuma National Park, Hotel Miraino Yado Mizunoto is the right place to stay. It’s next to the lake, where you may walk or jogging. The rooms are spacious which is not so common in Japan. The staffs are friendly, trying hard to accommodate guests’ enquiries in English. There are a couple of small restaurants around, but some of them close rather early. The only drawback about the hotel is that if you don’t drive, it’s not easy to get there."

"You need to use the hotel's shuttle service to travel, and it is very convenient to take the shuttle bus. The staff has a good service attitude and smooth communication. The living environment is clean and tidy, but the hotel feels very large, so it is indeed far to go downstairs to take a hot spring bath. The hotel's hot spring seems to be a real hot spring, and the outdoor hot spring is good. The hotel is quite old, so the usage habits of some rooms are older, and there are no other convenient disposable items provided in the hot spring washroom. In summary, it is an old-fashioned big hotel. It is more suitable for travelers who plan to visit Onuma Park or go to the ski resort to stay for one or two nights before leaving. If you plan to travel in the center of Hakodate, it is recommended to stay directly near JR. Finally, the hotel's breakfast is also OK, generally good."

There are also free drinks and wine in the hotel lobby, which is great! The hotel also has snow bikes for rent. You can ride them to visit Onuma Park. It is so beautiful and relaxing!"

"Super close to the JR station (3 mins walk)! If you have an early/late JR ride, this will be the best option for you! The room size was decent with more than enough amenities provided. A highlight would be having a vending machine that filled with snacks and ramen. You don’t have to starve yourself when everywhere else was closed in the dark."
