Nanjing Gulou District 5-star Hotels

The hotel was clean and nice, the service was on point we had an issue with a door in our room but the hotel has been very responsive and the staff helped us to accommodate the best as they could. The breakfast was good! And the amenities on point! And what a view from my room! I highly recommend this place for your next stay in Nanjing!

One of the top tier hotels in Nanjing. Services provided are great. In particular, receptionist Avonia had done a very good job in advising me for dining options. Staff might not understand much English but are willing to overcome by using Translator which is a nice touch. Buffet Breakfast was a highlight, 4 mornings in a row and we still haven’t tried every single item. Only setback is the cigarette butt I saw on the floor in the restroom on the 2nd Floor. Well, guess it’s not the staff to be blamed but sort of the culture of the local people. Nevertheless, we found the stay of 4 nights was satisfactory and will definitely recommend to others.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Its location is incredibly convenient, making traveling around the area a breeze. One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking view of both the lake and the mountains. The staff were exceptionally friendly. And, most importantly, the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Right beside Shanghai Lu where you’ll find most Western Restaurants, Bars etc. in Nanjing, great Spot. The hotel is definitely “Grand” and old but everything is super clean and renovated nicely to keep the style. Chinese Buffet is good, Staff is friendly, some English. The pool is small, but the Gym is great. Super clean, brand new machines definitely got a good workout in here. Can stay here as couple, single that wants to party or family, good spot if you like it Chinese style.

We got a free rooms upgrade by the hotel as it’s our wedding anniversary trips!! Rooms are clean n tidy n comfortable. Spacious room too. Very iconic hotel building in Nanjing as well, metro is just within 2 mins walk from the hotel main entrance. Their room top bar is amazing at lvl 78! We stay at lvl 52 which is pretty cool with an amazing view! Will highly recommend this hotel

The best best best hotel apartment in this trip as i have stay three hotel in this trip. Breakfast is nice and good for kid. Really nice kids toothbrush set. And the aircon is nice not too dry. Really quite and good location. Easy to get various food and drink. 10mins to Hongshan zoo and around 15mins to DeJi. I will definitely stay here next time when I travel to Nanjing.

There was a comment about the hotel room lacking the outlets. After my recent stay, I totally agreed to that. There is only one charging outlet at the bedside and one USB charging. There's no charging station at the desk which I found very odd. How can people work on their laptop at the desk without a charging station. So, remember to bring your own charging outlet if you have multiple electric devices. The hotel room has very good soundproofing. There are reasonable amounts of food selections at the breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The subway station is at B1 floor in the same high rise building. The location is definitely very convenient.

The hotel looks a bit old and the rooms are not as nice as the lobby is, but the included gym and swimming facilities are top notch. Also the service was great. I had to leave a day earlier due to a conference and I could easily check out a day earlier. All in all really nice.

We booked a room for a family reunion during the Chinese New Year. Except that the price was a little expensive during the Chinese New Year, everything was good, from the convenience of travel to the accommodation space and hygiene, from the hearty breakfast to the good room service. It was a very satisfying experience!

I absolutely loved my stay at Hilton! The location right on the river was so peaceful – waking up to the quiet sound of water was magical. My room was huge, spotless, and incredibly comfortable – the bed felt like a cloud! Breakfast was delicious with fresh, tasty options.
