Across the road is the entrance to the Laomendong Scenic Area. It takes 8-10 minutes to get to Confucius Temple and 900 meters to the Wudingmen subway station. It takes 9 minutes to get there. You can go directly to many attractions and stations in Nanjing. The hotel's breakfast focuses on the special snacks of the old south city, including honey lotus root, smoked fish, and salted duck; there are also local delicacies from Lane 378, Gao's crispy biscuits, fried dough sticks, sesame balls, tofu brain, and freshly ground soy milk every morning; Nanjing duck blood vermicelli soup and small wontons made by the eldest sister, clean and hygienic, looking forward to the family's visit again!

This area was once the private garden of Xu Lin, a Ming Dynasty dramatist, and has changed hands several times in history. However, this old neighborhood between Confucius Temple and Laomendong can be regarded as a model room for old city renovation. It won the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Protection Innovation Design Project Award in 2022. In the process of reconstruction, it carries the responsibility of protecting the historical style and retains the original appearance.
