"It was an absolutely great experience to stay at this hotel. Stylish, very clean and located in a beautiful place where you can enjoy a connection with nature. The staff of this hotel is extremely helpful and welcoming, polite and professional. Every one of our needs were fully satisfied. Thank you hotel team and management for this amazing experience. Best place to escape from a busy city for a few days. The thai dinner at the hotel restaurant was also very good and met all the expectations. Don't forget to prebook it in advance."

"The location is basically in the center of the entire village, not far from anywhere. There is also a place for children to play at the door. You can also sit on the grass in the evening. The room hygiene is still OK. The boss and the boss' son are very enthusiastic. Although it is hot during the day, fortunately there is air conditioning, so it is not too difficult. The only drawback is that there is no soundproofing. The children go to bed early, and if a young couple comes back late, it will be a bit noisy."

"This stay was great! The hotel has an elegant environment, clean and tidy rooms, and complete facilities. The bed was very comfortable, which gave me a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly, and Li Mingyue provided thoughtful service, making everyone feel at home from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted very good. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with convenient transportation around and many restaurants and snacks nearby. In short, this was a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend it to everyone! I will choose this hotel next time I come here!"

"The overall stay was good. Most of the staff is friendly and welcoming. Some could use some training in customer service. The biggest issues for me were that they obviously never mop the floors and they turned off the air conditioning using the excuse that guests will get sick and so many guests were so hot and uncomfortable at night."

"The hotel itself is great: it’s located in a peaceful area, rooms are clean, they come fully equipped with everything you’d need during a short trip, room service comes every day to clean up, take the rubbish out, restock amenities etc. There’s also a restaurant available with decent food. The only con to the hotel would have to be its location - it’s located far from the city centre, and in a not so pretty area. The nearest metro station is about 30 minutes walk. There are bus stops close to the hotel, but still it takes about an hour to get to the city centre. Over all, I would recommend staying there."

"I couldn't be more satisfied! I visited five cities in more than half a month on this trip, and I have to comment on this one. It is really rare to have such a good environment in the bustling area of Nanjing: there are large gardens in front and back, and the garden in the front is even bigger, so that the building is at least fifty meters away from the roadside. The garden in the back is also very beautiful, farther from the road, and very quiet! The room has a high ceiling and the furniture is of very good quality. It is all made of solid wood, with complete facilities and good hygiene. The corridor is very spacious. It should be a high-end hotel built in the 1930s and 1940s. It is very beautiful. The lobby waiter is also very enthusiastic and welcoming. This is the most satisfactory hotel I have stayed in in recent years, and I will definitely stay here again when I come to Nanjing next time."

"The room in Vienna is quite good. The bed is very comfortable. I always stay in Vienna when I go out. The surrounding environment is also pretty good. The front desk service is also very good. When I get there, I will warmly recommend the delicious places nearby. There are also some places to visit in the surrounding area. It’s just that the Lishui area closes relatively early. Some of the delicious food is no longer available in the evening. Overall, it’s pretty good and can be recommended [strong]"

"Our stay at The Central Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and took care of every detail. The room was spacious, with two generously sized single beds that were perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the famous DeJi Plaza and a subway entrance, making it super convenient to explore the city. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like complimentary water, robes, slippers, and the delightful surprise of glutinous rice balls (a special treat from Jiang Wei) for my daughter, who has quite the sweet tooth! The breakfast buffet was incredible, offering an overwhelming selection of delicious dishes, far more than we could try in one sitting. The on-site restaurants were exceptional, even better than some of the more expensive dining options we’ve tried in Nanjing. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nanjing!"

"I chose it temporarily when I was taking my kids to participate in activities nearby. The B&B is in a community and is newly opened. The scenery outside is nice and it is quiet at night. It is a five-minute drive from Shitang Bamboo Sea. There are many farmhouses in the surrounding areas (very nice). Eat) I also saw that there is a large lawn where you can set up tents, barbecue and fly kites. The room is not large and the bathroom is quite large. You should add some chairs or coffee tables to put clothes on so that you can have a place to put the clothes you take off. The ones on the hangers There are four bathrobes. You can keep only two if you want. There is a free space for hanging coats. The breakfast is clean and hygienic and the boss made it himself. The sweet potatoes are super sweet. I even forgot to pick up my suitcase when I checked out. Thank you to the boss for helping me send it back with SF Express!"

AAnonymous UserThe best hotel I’ve stayed in China so far! Located right beside Nanjing Railway Station and its metro station. Take Exit 11 from Nanjing Railway metro station and the hotel is right in front of it. Check in counter is located on level 2 of the building. The service by the front counter was good too! They served us with drinks while they were checking us in. We were at first given a room on level 2, but when we entered, there was a strong cigarette smell. We immediately informed the front counter, and they immediately changed our room to another room on level 3. They even help to bring our luggage up to the room. Room was big and comfortable for 3 of us. Price of this hotel was decent too. We were amazed by the clean room, and the kids playpen within the room! The playpen would be a plus point for families wtith kids but it was a great photo spot for us! The TV had screenshare functions but I had difficulties connecting my phone to the TV. Wifi connection was stable but as usual we could only use China approved apps through wifi. Opposite the hotel and on the first level of the hotel, there was a stretch of restaurants providing different types of food. There was also 2 mini marts along the stretch of restaurants. Laundry room was on level 3, beside the elevators. 2 washing machine and 2 dryers available, laundry detergent and softners are provided too. Steam iron is available in the laundry room. Laundry service was also provided, you can wash your laundry in the washing machine before heading out in the morning. Take the notepad provided by the side and leave your room number and type of washing service you need. the housekeepers will help to complete the washing and drying if needed. They also helped us to fold the clothes and left them in a laundry bag in the laundry room for us to collect when we go back at night. There was also the delivery robot there to deliver our delivered food. Overall would love return to this hotel again!

TTinaMThis is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting. As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station. The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day. At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others. On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have Meituan lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :) I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water. Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

DDidiaoThe service needs to be improved. Before entering the room, mineral water and slippers were placed on the floor at the door, and you had to pick them up yourself. To be honest, I have never seen such a thing in any hotel I have stayed in. Also, the night light in the room I stayed in occasionally flickered, probably because it was broken. Other aspects were ok, the room decoration style was good, and the decoration was quite new.

Uuandiqueue⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Service & Super Comfortable Stay – Would Definitely Come Back! I only stayed one night at Ziyi Tianyue Nanjing South Railway Station Hotel, but the experience was so good that I genuinely wish I had stayed longer. Right from the start, the service stood out. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered free laundry service, and when I used the self-service machine at night, they still called my room once it was done. That level of thoughtfulness really made a difference. Later that night, they even brought me free watermelon. It might seem like a small thing, but it was sweet (in every sense of the word) and made me feel truly looked after. They also gave me a room upgrade, and when I asked for a late checkout due to my train schedule, they arranged it without hesitation. The whole experience felt warm, generous, and honestly worthy of a 5-star rating. One thing that really impressed me was how considerate they were toward me as a foreign guest. Since I don’t have a Chinese phone number, they lent me theirs so I could order food delivery—something I didn’t expect at all and really appreciated. A big shoutout to 小梅 and 小左 at the front desk. They were so kind and went above and beyond to help—from check-in to recommending great places to eat and visit in Nanjing. They truly made me feel welcome. The room itself was great: clean, cozy, and equipped with modern features like a smart toilet, Xiaodu voice assistant, and even a robot that delivers food to your room. It felt high-tech but still very comfortable. The only minor downside is that the hotel doesn’t have a gym—but honestly, with everything else being this good, especially for the price, it’s a very small thing. Even though I only stayed one night, I felt genuinely cared for from start to finish. I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in Nanjing. Huge thanks to the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors. However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an À la carte buffet on the other. I chose the À la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it. Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet. This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining. I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.

PPatrickeblevinsMy wife and I are trying our best to have children but it has been very challenging. We needed a place close the hospital and decided to try Qingmu hotel because it was conveniently located and looked comfortable from the outside and had mostly positive reviews on trip.com. As a foreigner who speaks very little mandarin I was concerned about communication with the hotel staff. But I was pleasantly surprised with how efficiently they handled this problem. We were able to chat with help of WeChat and google translate. They also knew more English than I thought they would. Soon we were very friendly and found a productive way to communicate my needs and get the best room possible. They also helped with our travel bags and provided water and a snack. I felt very happy and comfortable with their services and they made this feel like a home more than a hotel stay. The room was very inviting and smelled freshly cleaned. The bed was very comfortable and my wife has had back pain but said that the bed was perfect for her. It was nice that they were able to store our medication in a temperature controlled fridge while we continued to work towards conception. We had a wonderful view of the city and the bathroom had essentials to aid in freshening up between sessions. The shower had hot water and a removable head and could fit two people. We had access to a microwave oven to warm our lunch and a laundry center to catch up on our travel clothing cleaning needs. The hotel is located close to the subway and is surrounded by many restaurants and other forms of entertainment. Staying here during the Chinese New Year you could feel the festivities all around you, with brightly colored decorations and music. The hotel was also pleasantly decorated with flowers in our rooms as well as in the lobby. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great stay, for an even better price, my wife and I will definitely return here. I attached some photos of my stay below.
