Such a beautiful hotel. Close to the metro stop and bus stops so transportation is always available. Checkin was quick and having a staff at the front desk speak English was an added bonus. The breakfast options were abundant and delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

The new hotel is located in the scenic area of Zhongshan yet remains not too far from everything - a huge contrast to the hustle and bustle downtown. Got assigned a room facing the front courtyard and it could be noisy at times when guests and locals walk past while chatting loudly. The musical fountain could also be annoying if you're not into that kind of thing. Everything in the room worked as they should be except the master lighting control, which was a bit funny - could be a wiring problem. Staff was very welcoming and polite. Security was a bit slack as they'd give you a new key card without having first check your ID.

The room is not very big and the bed is relatively soft, which is not very friendly to people with bad waists! Parking is really convenient, with its own parking lot! The only complaint is that after checking in, I found that the air conditioner was not cooling. At first I thought it needed time to cool down. When I came back from traveling, I found that the air conditioner still did not cool down. I called the front desk and found out that the hotel's air conditioning system was broken and under repair, and it had been broken for a while! When checking in, the front desk was tight-lipped and didn't mention a word! I hope that friends who want to book a room would ask the platform or hotel in advance whether the facilities are normal before booking, so as to avoid the situation like what I encountered this time after checking in!

Room design is different but cool. Cleaning was really good. Water pressure in the shower was perfect. Transportation to the metro station takes 10 minutes which is okay but not perfect for a city traveler. Lighting in the bathroom area is not good for wearing a make-up, it was a bit challenging. We stayed 2 nights for a Nanjing trip, everything in general was okay.

In the hotel: stay in room 8410 at the corner, 1.8 bed is west to east, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the windows are large, the north and south are transparent, clean and tidy, relatively quiet; the elevator on the 4th floor can go to the outdoor terrace. Outside the hotel: next to the traffic light intersection in the east-west direction of Zhujiang Road, turn left at the hotel is Bei'anmen Street, and walk to the left in less than five minutes to the Houzaimen Food Street; Across the road is the Yudai River (small section), directly opposite is Ming Palace Road, five minutes walk in front is the north gate of Ming Palace (free reservation), friends who are used to walking or cycling can walk to the south gate of Ming Palace, and ride above for about 15 minutes to Nanjing Museum (Through the pedestrian passage, you can directly reach the underground commercial street of Nanboyuan. The elevator goes up to the courtyard, which is much faster than the long queue at the gate).

Great location just south of Xianmen station. Quite tired looking from the outside but improves drastically upon approaching the lobby. The property is aged but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Bed is super soft, big desk and chair, couch is sturdy and the cup disinfector is a nice touch. Wifi speed is about 20 megs per second and there are tons of TV channels. Buffet breakfast had many options. Robot butlers on standby. Love the ceiling mounted showerhead. There was a fridge but it was locked, quite pointless. Overall this is easily the best place I’ve stayed in Nanjing and recommend it.

It was late, and the front desk recommended nearby food. We upgraded our room to a room with a yard. We were very satisfied and would come again.
