Quartano Suites by Heliessa, Adults Only

Stayed here with 2 other friends. Was told our room was big enough for 3 adults, but the room was meant for two adults at most. Every time we took a shower, the water would come up out of the drain outside of the shower and wet the entire floor. Unsanitary bathrooms and cracks in the doors and walls that allowed bugs to come in. Our bath towels had yellow stains all over them. The “lounge chairs” were not as advertised, as there were two bean bag chairs that smelled musty and one day bed that was concave and almost impossible to sit on comfortably. We were only allowed to have one key to share between the three of us, and when we asked what to do if more than one of us needed to use the key, we were told to leave it in a non-secured box outside of the reception office. During our 5 night stay, housekeeping only came twice. We paid $420 USD per night to stay in this hotel, but would not pay more than $150.

My two sisters and I chose Heliessa Hotels because of its affordable price and promising reviews. Overall, this hotel fulfilled all of our expectations and more! The room itself was comfortable but would fall under the "budget" category; however, this didn't bother us as we spent most of our day outside of the hotel exploring. We really loved the location - a five minute walk outside of the main center of Naoussa. This meant a quieter atmosphere at Heliessa for relaxing around the pool or falling asleep at night! The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, as well. The main reason I wrote this review was to compliment the INCREDIBLE staff! Every person that we interacted with was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help! Bright smiles were normal here. They offered a great transport service to take you anywhere on the island, and we especially loved Panos's positive attitude and driving skills :) Overall, we agreed that Heliessa was our favorite hotel experience in Greece, mainly because of these incredible people. Do not miss out if you're looking for comfortable accommodations on your Greek adventure!!

Great location in walkable distance to the Naoussa center. Great service, everyone on the staff team was helpful, welcoming and efficient. We didn’t try it, but there was a pool. Our room was simple but clean and spacious, albeit a bit dark. We had a porch. Parking lot offered. Near a gas station. The breakfast dynamic was a bit weird but the food was very good! Calm neighborhood. Details: didn’t notice a safe in the room.

We booked the 1st floor 2 bedroom (one room with 2 twin beds, other with double bed - individual a/c), comfortable beds, own porch with outdoor table and chairs. Rooms clean with tile throughout, pool/bar area spotless, breakfast buffet (amazing home-cooked dishes, eggs, sausage, quiche, muffins, tarts, etc. restaurant quality!) Walking distance from beach, town square, 2 bakeries, post office, laundromat (great service), my fav. restaurant Platia. Staff so kind and helpful. Highly recommend (our teens as well)!
