Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort, Paros

We had a lovely stay at the Cosme this summer with our family of 3 teenage children, and my wife and I. The experience was very relaxed and we were well looked after. The hotel is much smaller than many we have been to in Greece, and so doesnt have that conveyor-belt resort feeling. The staff were all incredibly charming, attentive and had so much time to help you in any way, where often in the bigger resorts they seem harassed and tired, and desperate for summer to end. The facilities are what you'd expect for a more boutique hotel. The gym is excellent and well-equipped, as are the treatment rooms. The pool is very nice - though more or a quick dip than laps, but with the view that good, why wouldn't you keep your head above water and drink in hand. The restaurant was very nice, with mezze, fish, and local dishes. Meanwhile, my 13-year-old daughter who's tastes are less exotic, LOVED the smash burger which she said was the best burger she had ever eaten. The bar too was well tended til late in the evening with friendly and knowledgeable barstaff who were happy to take an order or recommend a cocktail of their own design. The beach is perhaps the least exciting bit of the resort, with a small stretch of quite dusty sand, to a quiet bay. It's a nice place to swim but the water is not crystal clear as as a result of the fine sand, and you won't see many fish. But with adequate beds and attentive service, it's very comfortable - and both here and the pool there is no morning run of people claiming sunbeds like you get in big resorts. Finally the concierge team were brilliant. They are super friendly and you can manage everything through a private Whatsapp chat with them when you are out and about. They recommended some great restaurants in Naoussa which is a nice 10 minute walk away and is full of nice shops, restaurants and spots to watch the sun go down. They even offered to help book everything in the next leg of our holiday even once we had left! 10 out of 10 Concierge team.

From arrival to departure, our time at Cosme was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff was welcoming and very helpful. The room accommodations were great. We had excellent experiences at all the facilities including the spa, poolside and the restaurant. Food was delicious! Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Paros.
