The hotel owner is very nice. Meals are buffet style, but there is still bread, milk and some fruits. You can also make your own pancakes with eggs, small pancakes... It's more than 3 hours' walk from the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in Switzerland, and the environment is pretty good. Pay attention to sun protection

Welcoming hotel in charming glacier/alpine place... owner & Swiss Lausanne trained hotelier plus Italian maitre d and chef really make this place in Valais exceptional. Human touch ! Rare these days !

It's hard to explain how special this place is. The view, the atmosphere, the staff, the food...there is no other little piece of heaven like this that I've ever seen. The staff really are fantastic and made our week so lovely. The skiing was amazing, the chef is so talented, and we really enjoyed our time in the spa taking in the mountains from the hot tubs. All I can say is thank you to everyone at Hamilton Lodge for giving us such a memorable experience.

Great place to stay in a comfortable hotel direct at the piste! Service is great with outdoor wellness etc. Ski area is limited but 15 min away from Riederalp/BettmerAlp. Recommend to stay, great owners with a big heart for hospitality! Dogs are welcome!

Hamilton Lodge is like something out of a fairy tale. Everything you think of as a luxury mountain home as a child. Service from caring people. Delicious food. A warm cost open hearth. Oh abs the spa with its wonderful view. The caring owner arranged a masseuse to come for us. This is a unique experience.

We were a big group of friends staying at Hamilton Lodge, which offered us the most perfect stay at beautiful Belalp. The location is the best, close to the chair lift, school and equipment rental shop. The rooms offer a cousy stay with a great view from the balcony. The restaurant service was impecable, delicious food and great service, which always adapeted to changes in schedule for such a big group like ours ( around 20p). The cosy living room with a fireplace and a piano alowded us to enjoy a great evening, while playing and singing together. The Spa offered more than expected, between sauna and several outdoor pools. The hostes are incredible people and will always try to make your stay the best possibile ever! We will come back as a group next year and certainly some of us with family or even for a romantic getaway! PS: All necessary measure against Covid were taken into account at our arrival and stay.

One of the best places to stay and enjoy the amazing mountain atmosphere in Belalp, Switzerland. We were around 20 people and they've managed us amazingly. The food is great, the hosts were super friendly and very attentious with everything. The rooms were cozy and vintage oriented..and the views in the morning...what a pleasure! We had a great experience: we danced, smiled, we felt in love, just like being at home. We'll book again for sure, I've never felt I could have such welcome place around.

Wir durften eine Nacht im Hotel Belalp auf unserer Wandertour durchs Wallis verbringen. Bereits bei Ankunft konnten wir die gut gefüllte Sonnenterasse geniessen. Als Apero gab es einen feinen Heida aus der Region, exzellent. Die Abenkarte war nicht so gross aber trotzdem umfangreich und wir durften hervorragend Essen, kompliment dem Koch. Ebenfalls am nächsten Tag begrüsste uns ein reichhaltiges und qualitativ sehr feines Frühstück. Wir genossen diesen Luxus bei fairen Preis und charmanten Gastgeber Familie Meier.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad; prachtig gelegen hotel op hoogte. Mooie omgeving tussen de koeien en marmotten, goede wandelingen te maken ook. Zeer gastvrij personeel en management. We zaten met half pension; dit was zeker prima, al waren we toe aan wat variatie in diner.
