Akre Hotel

It was a pleasure to stay in Akre for such a short time. It worth staying longer, as the hotel located a bit away from the crowd and shopping area, but it has everything needed and a private empty beach , which is perfect for those who want to recharge and relax totally. We rented a scooter in a little village 20 mins away from Akre, which was cheap and let us travel within the island freely. The hotel let us check out after 2 pm and even provided a new room! Adorable! And Eleni, the manager, was extremely hospitable and caring ❤️ Thank you for having us! want to go back !

What a delightful place. Away from the crowds and chaos of Naxos port. The constant winds in these islands ensures that you are never too hot but the rooms have air-conditioning anyway. A delightful oasis with stunning sea views across the Agean to Paros. Restaurant serves really healthy and tasty food, albeit that they import most of what they offer. Lovely pool next to bar to chillax and let your worries fade to infinity, like the pool!

This property is absolutely breath taking. There are not that many rooms so the pool area is never so packed you can’t find a seat. The gym is breathtaking and the service can’t be beat. Would recommend this little slice of heaven to anyone. 5 stars all the way.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July. It is an excellent hotel located about 11 minutes drive from Naxos town. The service is brilliant. Eleni is so helpful - she went above and beyond what was expected! The pool is gorgeous with a full sea view and perfect for cooling down in the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet, which was important to us. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection and dinner was good too (I recommend trying the prawn pasta which was one of the best dishes we tried in Naxos). Ideally you need to rent a car to get to/from this hotel and for Naxos in general... We had to get taxis everywhere and it was €25 one way for most journeys so this added up quite quickly. The hotel have a private transfer option too which is useful as you can book this in advance. We had a couple of minor issues - for example, the waiting times for the taxis given from the reception staff were inaccurate (we had to wait a lot longer on a few occasions) and housekeeping kept our door unlocked twice, however this did not affect our overall experience. Would still highly recommend!

Our favourite stay on Naxos! Went far beyond our expectations! We were greeted warmly by the staff, and throughout our stay were super friendly and helpful. Eleni, the owner, was very accommodating - she went above and beyond for us and made us feel very special! Christos was lovely too! The hotel and property around was stunning. The private beach was so peaceful and the views from the hotel are out of this world. The restaurant, which also serves the breakfast each morning was very good and the service was very attentive. Would love to stay here again!

Spectacular Stay at the Akre Hotel An amazing experience in every way. The staff was superb. We asked for some accommodations and they were immediately provided. The hotel is a unique property especially the location and the tranquility. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. It’s away from the beach bustle, yet close to it as well. After traveling in Athens and Santorini, we needed this lovely spot to recharge. We would readily return here.
