We booked a room at Leo Patre Hotel for 1 night. Afterwards we added a second night. When we arrived we were told that Leo Patre was already full so we were given a "upgrade" in the Jimmy's Pyramids view. We felt very rushed by the guy, he told us to get cash. He tries to convince you he is honest and wants the best. Then he asks to pay for the hotel and additionally you can book a tour, which we did (to be honest this was our own fault). After having a good night we checked and found out that Jimmy's view was cheaper than Leo Patre. The latter one had a gym, pyramid room view, hot tub. Jimmy's view had none of them. We were charged more than we had to pay for Leo Patre while the room/hotel in Jimmy's view was not as good as the description for Leo Patre. Next day we decide to search for Leo Patre, we didn't find the hotel. Then we decided to leave after the first night. We tried to bargain on a refund. First we had an agreement, then Jimmy left for half an hour, then Jimmy showed up with a "friend" (to intimidate). Finally, 2 hours after the beginning of our conversation/bargaining they started to "discuss" in the lobby. Then we decided to leave, under pressure (we had to take the train to Aswan) we had to accept some money, in fact this was only the Pyramid tour we had booked earlier. So no refund for the hotel. When we left the hotel told we didn't show up so we had to pay an extra fine. Besides this scam, room is ok, breakfast is bad (some bread, fries and tasteless falafel), one room had a broken shower. Avoid this place at all cost!

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza in questo albergo perché ero attratto dalla bellissima vista sulle piramidi dalla stanza, così come si evinceva dalle foto presenti sul sito. Purtroppo le foto non sono vere, poiché dalla stanza le piramidi si vedevano pochissimo in quanto erano coperte da palazzi. Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni alla struttura, sostenevano che si trattava di foto scattate svariati anni prima. Sono rimasto senza parole. Inoltre la struttura è molto degradata e sporca, la hall è squallida, le porte delle camere hanno maniglie rotte, l'ascensore è malmesso, nel bagno non vi è lo scopettino a fianco al water. Per il transfer dell'aeroporto ci hanno chiesto 25 dollari, mentre su Uber bastano circa 10 dollari per raggiungere la struttura. Insomma, mi sono sentito preso in giro ed alla fine ho chiesto il rimborso, ma hanno trattenuto 45 euro per spese di pulizia, mentre abbiamo solo trascorso mezz'ora nella stanza per valutarne le condizioni e cercare una soluzione alternative. Insomma, state attenti!

I stayed for 5 nights at beautiful hotel. Firstly, the bedroom and hotel itself was exceptionally clean and in good condition. The people at the hotel gave excellent recommendations on tours and advice on traveling around Giza and Cairo. The cost for the 5 nights was very affordable. In addition, the food in the rooftop restaurant, especially the breakfast, was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.
