Brigitte house. nice studio with beautiful view small courtyard inside

The apartment was great... very comfortable. But being into my seventies with a dodgy knee, I just wish I'd known there was a climb of 369 steps!

This studio is immaculate and supplied with everything we needed for our 12-day stay (as described in the listing). The host even met us at the ferry and hiked with us up the hill; pointing out various boat tour options and showing us the closest grocery market — and they continued to be very responsive throughout. We loved our time at this studio in Hydra. The private courtyard garden is lovey, and the view of the town and harbour is spectacular! Highly recommend staying here. Bring your sturdy walking shoes as each trip down to the harbour and back up to the studio involves steep, uneven steps and cobblestone paths (250 stairs anyone?). You’ll definitely get some aerobic exercise, and it’s so worth it!!

We enjoyed our stay very much at this magic location. Perfectly renovated studio, all brand new, freshly painted and well equipped. The view from the terras is stunning. Dominique and Brigitte are such kind people and Dominique even picked us up from the port to guide us to the studio. I really can recommend this place and maybe some day we will return :-)

This is probably the best property to stay in when visiting Idra. While it is a bit of a hike up the hill to the property it is abundantly rewarded with an amazing view and outstanding facilities. Dominique is a fantastic and attentive host. He met us when our ferry arrived and made sure that we had all we needed throughout our five day stay.The room is extremely comfortable and has everything one needs for a delightful vacation. Hydra We were met by Dom on Hydra port. He helped us settle in and was attentive always. The 10 minute stairclimb ended at our well appointed studio which had a magnificent view of the port. We spent a week soaking up the sun and all Hydra’s annual Andreas Miaoulis celebrations!

Anyone considering staying at this property should understand that it is a significant climb up steep irregular stairs to reach the property. It leads to one arranging one day so that the minimal number of climbs will have to be achieved. What is a pretty and well appointed property? The arduous nature of the access is overwhelming.
