The owner offered a wonderful menu to choose our celebratory meal for 8, including wine & cocktails. We settled comfortably on the expansive deck, visiting & laughing together better than a busy dining establishment would have provided. Consider this spot for future corporate retreats. The location is close to both Omaha and Kansas City metros.

Whispering pines is our favorite quick escape. We have been going here at least once a year for the last several years. We love it so much we even had our wedding here. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hot tub is great! Jeanna is a great host and an amazing chef! We are looking forward to our next visit!

We loved our stay at Whispering Pines! We brought our pups, so we stayed in "The Roost," the pet friendly barn. It was great! Quiet, comfortable, and clean. At the house, we gathered with siblings for a yearly reunion. We had the most delicious breakfasts both mornings, and we were glad we also opted to have Jeanna cook dinner for us our first evening. It was wonderful! Our dogs wanted me to add that they appreciated the treats Jeanna made for them, too. We had such a good weekend!

On our way back from our trips to Colorado, our only overnight stop is at Jeanna's Whispering Pines B&B. It is like home away from home, only better as we get all of the amenities without the work! Throw in the great fresh breakfast, various snacks, terrific grounds and Jeanna herself, you end up with one great experience. She even had connections at a local auto repair shop and a Lincon Subaru dealership that allowed our vehicle to be repaired the same day without an appointment and on our way. Thanks again, Jeanna, for another wounderful stay. See you soon.

We were greeted very warmly and discovered cookies that made my husbands eyes bug out of his head. When we were shown our room, there was a rose on the pillows. Then the innkeeper told us about the hot tub. Say no more. Even though it was outdoors, it was fantastic. A great way to remember a state that I had never been to. I now have 6 states left to visit. That is also including the AWESOME French Toast for breakfast. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST place we stayed during our trip.

3 of us high school friends loved staying at Whispering Pines B&B. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Accommodations were great. Breakfasts were wonderful and Jeanna was such a warm, wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable hostess and helpful suggesting things to do and take in around Nebraska City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!!

We had the most wonderful weekend! Jeanna goes above and beyond to make your stay warm and welcoming. She makes amazing meals and is so kind and friendly. She made us feel so at home. The house and the grounds are so beautiful. We can't wait to stay here again.

Great hidden gem. Host was excellent. Private but yet access to hot tub and fire pit if wanted. Very close to arbor lodge. Any questions I had host answered right away. Great location and atmosphere.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! My wife and I were looking for a relaxing play to stay en route home from a quick trip north for family functions, and we found it at Whispering Pines B&B! From arrival to departure, we felt welcomed and relaxed. Our host was gracious, warm, and attentive to our comfort; our guestroom comfortable and cozy and quiet; and the grounds beautiful and peaceful. Of note, we greatly enjoyed the wrap-around porch -- the swing into the early evening and breakfast in the morning. Needless to say, we will be visiting again!
