Sunset at the Palms Resort - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Amazing only begins to describe SATP. The grounds are immaculate, lush and very private. The food was wonderful and was by far the best all inclusive culinary experience we have had. The Chefs Showcase was the highlight of our dinner experience. The food was outstanding and the experience with the Chefs and staff made it even better. What an amazing group of people. Everyone on staff at SATP were so kind and friendly. Always smiling and asking if we needed anything. A few people we would like to especially thank are Jason and Odine. These guys went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always greeted us by name and made us feel like family. Thank you guys for being so welcoming. The ladies at the spa are truly gifted. The serene setting and the amazing messages had my wife and I walking on clouds. Thank you ladies for an amazing spa day. Also thank you again to everyone at SATP. From the front desk to the pool bar staff to the beach bar staff. You all deserve a 5 out of 5.

We have just returned from an 11 night stay at this truly magical and tranquil place. All the staff were friendly and cheerful and looked after us very well. The tree-house style rooms were well appointed and I loved sitting out on the deck during the daily afternoon downpours. Falling asleep to the sound of tiny tree frogs singing their hearts out was wonderful too. The beach is lovely and we spotted many little starfish on the seabed and a couple of large rays also, so be careful where you're standing! The sand is soft and the water so calm, clear and warm for swimming or floating around and reading a book. I loved listening to the musicians who stop and play along the beach whilst sunbathing . Back at the hotel, we often had the pool to ourselves and enjoyed many a cocktail at the swim up bar. My only issue (and I am complaining about paradise!) was the food offered during the day. Breakfast was good, but there is no lunch buffet, something | think should be offered given the price point of this holiday. You have to order food fresh (terrible, I know!) and the service can be really slow, with wait times sometimes over an hour. The options were limited for me as a non meat eater at lunchtime too. A simple salad bar would have been much appreciated. Overall, we had a great time and I never went hungry. Lots of the food felt authentically Jamaican and had a good amount of spice and flavour. The frozen Jiggy coffee was delicious and a must try. We will hopefully return one day. One love! 💚🌴🐸☀️

My husband and I have just returned from a week here. We were sad to leave as the hotel is just beautiful and relaxing. The pool area and swim up bar was peaceful and picturesque. The beach was just beautiful and the service at the beach bar / restaurant was excellent. The locals all walk past trying to sell their items but are all friendly and don’t bother you. There’s water sports like canoes and paddle boards which are free to use and not too busy so easy to get on. There is a road between the hotel and beach but security stop the traffic for your safety and it really Isn’t a problem or off putting. The treehouses were great and secluded and the day bed was lovely to sit and listen to the wildlife that you were surrounded by. The most impressive part of our holiday was how attentive and friendly every single member of staff were. You felt at home from the moment you arrived and everyone was so helpful and hardworking to ensure your stay was perfect. We don’t usually return to the same hotels , but this is definitely one that we intend to go to again in the future ! It may not be a 5* star due to some amenities and lack of but it truly is a 5* star stay due to the employees. There isn’t much in entertainment in the evening, which was our intention and perfect for the holiday we wanted but the martini bar after dinner is nice to sit around and meet other couples on their holidays too.

Sunset at the Palms is the perfect place to stay. The treehouse was beautiful and it was so nice to be in a quiet place. I loved my treehouse so much that I will be returning. The concierge was so welcoming and made me feel special. Everyone at the resort was so friendly from the waiters, waitresses to the wonderful bartenders and housekeepers. The food was really delicious and it was a different theme every night. Lotus leaf and the Chef Showcase is also a must try! If you want to be with nature and away from the concrete buildings, Sunset at the Palms is definitely for you. I can't wait to return! It's my happy place. Also, as a solo traveler, I felt very safe. Petit resort de 85 chambres pour adultes seulement et c'est parfait comme ça! L'accueil est chalereux, tout le personnel est attentionné à chaque instant. Les chambres sont dans de petites maisons sur pilotis au coeur d'une belle végétation. Le ménage est fait chaque jour et le mini bar est rempli. Le buffet est de bonne qualité et le restaurant à la carte offre un bon menu varié. Peu d'animation en soirée, mais ce n'est pas un inconvénient. La plage est superbe et aucune sargasse! Le service à la plage est OK.

My wife and I just got back from our second trip to Sunset at the Palms in Negril, and honestly, it was even better than we remembered. We went once before and had such a good experience that we knew we had to come back—and it did not disappoint. From the minute we arrived, the staff treated us like we were old friends. Their motto is “Come as a guest, stay as a friend, leave as family”—and they truly live by it. What we love most about this place is that it’s all-inclusive, but it doesn’t feel like a big, crowded resort. It feels more like a peaceful, boutique-style hotel tucked away in the middle of a tropical garden. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the treehouse-style rooms make it feel like you’re in your own little jungle paradise. The view from our room was stunning—just plants and palms in every direction. We did not miss not having an ocean view. The food? So good. The main restaurant offers a buffet full of local dishes that give you a real taste of Jamaica, and the beach bar has a great menu too—perfect for when you want to eat right by the ocean. But the best part by far was the dinners at night. They have special evening meals where their head chef (who is world-class, by the way) worked with a group of younger chefs to put together these amazing multi-course meals. Every dish had a Jamaican twist, and you could taste the love and creativity that went into it. I had a chance to talk to some of the chefs—they walked me through how they prepared the dishes and what spices they used, which was such a cool experience. I even got a lesson on how to make Jamaican porridge. The beach is one of the best we’ve ever been to. You do have to walk across the street, but it is a safe short walk. It is super clean, super quiet. The staff is there early every morning to make sure it’s spotless. Kevon, who works down there, helped us set up some excursions and was just all-around awesome. The beach is private, and there were never too many people in the water or crowding the chairs—so it felt like our own little slice of paradise. One of the best parts of the trip was a special dinner they hosted for returning guests like us. We got to sit down with the executive chef and the resort’s tourism director for a more intimate dinner and chat. They asked for our input, shared some of the ideas they’re working on, and really just wanted to connect. It was a great experience and showed how much they care about their guests. And we’ve got to give a special shoutout to Lindwood, one of the gardeners. While my wife was sitting on the deck reading, he came by and started telling her all about the plants on the property. Later, he brought her a beautiful hand-picked bouquet. On our last day, he gave us a full tour of the grounds and pointed out 17 different types of palm trees. You could tell how proud he is of his work—and it shows. The gardens are stunning. This place has it all—beauty, peace, great food, and incredible people. It’s hard to put in
