Hotel Villa Flamenca

What a wonderful hotel and staff. When we arrived at the hotel we were advised that our room was ready even though we were early. The lady on reception explained everything that we needed to know about the hotel. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable. There is plenty of storage for all our clothes. There is a fridge and a free safe which is an added bonus. The air con was easy to use and necessary as it was extremely hot. There was a good choice at breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were lovely. The pool area is clean with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Music was playing in the background but not loud. We didn't eat in the restaurant but ate at the bar. The food was plentiful and delicious. But what made this hotel outstanding was the staff. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and caring. What wonderful people.

Pleasant hotel in a good location. Myself and a friend booked an executive pool view room for 3 nights. Room great, spacious and we moved one of the beds into the small lounge area so we could have more privacy. 2 small patio areas. Housekeeping good. Mini bar very reasonably priced at €1 per item. Definitely a more mature clientele overall. A few things we think would be a big improvement. Plastic glasses for outside terrace and around pool. Didn’t like having paper cups. One member of the reception team and one member of bar staff are a little ‘curt’ verging on rude. Others very friendly and competent. Fresh orange juice is a must at breakfast current offerings is unpleasant. Breakfast overall good but little variation and fresh fruit offering could be wider. We would have far preferred to have taken breakfast outside so going forward I think the hotel should look seriously at opening up the breakfast room to the bar and pool area, could be quite easily done. All in all a good stay and would be tempted to stay again if some of the above changes were made.

Not visited for 10 years, but the upgrades undertaken they have made since have certainly enhanced the guest experience. The new facilties together with the friendly staff, great food and drink has made it another great holiday. It is in a wuiet location and a little off the beaten track, so be prepared to walk to outside amenities, beaches or the centre of Nerja. But if you just want a chilled holiday you can just stay around the pool, or the solarium sun deck.

Back after another amazing holiday at the Villa Flamenca. Without exception staff are so very friendly and professional. Hotel perfect for couples. All guests really friendly too. Room, pool , food all excellent as ever. It’s a pleasure to visit and an ideal location in nerja.

Everything very good , nice breakfast, standard rooms small but kept very clean , air con excellent and needed. Only small gripe was gym didn’t open until 8 in morning and we like to go before breakfast. I would definitely go back as the hotel and staff are great and in good location for the beach and centre only 5 minutes to beach and 10 to centre.
