Hotel Nerja Club by Dorobe

Disappointing, first room allocated near sun lounges, could have tripped over them coming out of room. Second room at front near busy roads, but had privacy that first didn’t. Receptionist not very helpful and very unwelcoming. Room very small . Bar, cleaning and breakfast staff very friendly . Definitely not convenient to sea front. On the edge of town. Booked this TUI holiday in January with ice on the streets. It will be the last time we will be slumming it in such an establishment, we will check out our hotel in future. Both over 70 and fit but definitely not suitable for anyone not fit.

Just back from a month at hotel Nerja club what a great holiday, despite some disappointing weather some days ,we had a brilliant time. This hotel gets some negative reviews which we can never understand, people must understand this a budget hotel not the savoy.The breakfast is excellent and dinner is always adequate,the rooms are are really good and cleaned every day,there is a fabulous pool area and terrace which is a real sun trap,nice bar and lounge . Now to the most important point the staff what a wonderful group they are all friendly and helpful, would like to send a special thanks to Estella,Sonia,Jose,Manu,Tony,and Francisco who run the bar and restaurant.Also thanks to este,Antonio and Louis on reception you do a great job.All in all a great stay see you all in October Love from Lilian and Brian Crosby

This was our third visit but it will be the last. It wasn’t a pleasant week partly because of the poor weather but the room was not good at all. Really should be classed as a single room, far too small for two people. Very little storage space, three shelves and a 15 inch wardrobe for clothes, not to mention our suitcases. The door onto the balcony was almost impossible to open, the heating didn’t work or the fan in the bathroom. As most of the time we couldn’t sit out, although we went out each day, we had only one chair or the bed to sit on. We managed to squeeze one of the balcony chairs through the broken door. I’d asked for a quiet room and it was until Friday and Saturday night when the entertainment started. 3 hours of very loud music, so loud I was able to sing along in my head, every note and word. On a positive note, the food was good although breakfast wasn’t so good, coffee the tasted, well it didn’t really, thought it was chocolate at first. Orange cordial instead of real Orange. Dinner was very good for me, excellent salads. Not so sure if you don’t like salad. The staff we had regular contact with were lovely and the hotel itself was very clean and pleasant. Weather aside we won’t be going back.
