Van Heeckeren Hotel ★★★★

"A convenient stay. Comfort rooms have good beds, good shower. Helpful and friendly staff. A very good breakfast. And instead of a coffeemachine coffee is handmade at the reception during breakfast. So much better coffee. Minus: walls are not soundproof. Convenient location to start a cycletour around the island and do some birdwatching."

Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Noordsee-Ameland ★★★★

"A very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is ideal, both for the town center of Nes and the beach. We (3 adults) had a spacious studio on the ground floor. Great beds, a great bathroom, and a nice kitchenette. Cable TV without German channels. The rooms are generally a bit noisy, and the doors to the hallways are quite stiff, especially for people with disabilities. Automatic doors would make a significant difference. There's a small indoor pool. The breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate and tasty for us. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We would gladly return."

Logement Overzee ★★★

"room 7 spacious doubble rain shower and a tub, separate toilet bed 1.80 wide in the center of Nes, 3 minute walking to the central parking place, this island has in every village a central parking breakfast and dinner can be booked seperately, very convenient"
