Old Town Inn

This was our first time on the island and our first experience staying at an inn and Neal and his girls went above and beyond to make us feel at home We traveled to the island for a family wedding and a large group of us stayed at old town inn we loved it so much we extended our stay! Breakfast was made fresh every morning and homemade muffins and juice for snacks the inn is super clean and updated we loved sitting by the fire in the cozy sitting room playing games and hanging out we will definitely return to the inn for our next family vacation

Wow, this place is truly a gem! So glad I stumbled upon it. While it's not exactly in town, it has so many other benefits. To start, the rooms are large and beautifully decorated/newly renovated. We loved the contemporary/beach decor. Thankfully, it's NOT a stuffy Victorian B & B. We were so comfortable there from the start. The common spaces were bright, tasteful and spacious. We loved the outdoor fire pit (there are actually 2), gazebo, the corn hole games, delicious breakfasts out on the deck overlooking the expansive yard, stargazing from the Adirondack chairs, the list goes on and on. Neal was such a wonderful host, too! Ok, so the location...it's much more quiet than it would be staying in town. There's ample parking, and many of the guests bring their cars. We brought our bicycles instead, and loved that we embarked on this super fun adventure. We're in our late 50's and are pretty good cyclists, so it was a perfect choice. Contrary to popular belief, Block Island isn't flat, so if you're thinking of tooling around on a rental bike, maybe you should rethink that plan. However, it's only about mile walk to town and there are plenty of cabs (Ubers, maybe?) to take you to wherever you want to go. In fact, even though we had our bikes, we walked to town for dinner each night (didn't want to drink and pedal). I truly hope that we'll return to Block Island again. We had never been there, and it was absolutely lovely. We would definitely plan to stay at the Old Town Inn again!

We would come back here in a heartbeat. Friendly and welcoming owners, beautiful property with a yard, delicious breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms with interesting artwork, reasonable rates… a perfect place to stay in every way!

We stayed here for a very fun girls’ weekend. The Inn is in a lovely historic building but the accommodations were bright (lots of windows), spacious, and very modern! My room (#10) had lovely views from every window—even the bathroom! The property is beautiful and common areas are roomy and comfortable. The Inn’s location is terrific—close to everything but also peaceful. We hiked, saw seals, went into town, drank and ate to excess, laughed a lot, and had a ball! I hope to be back!

Loved our stay at the Old Town Inn! It's in the center of the island, so perfectly placed for all the many walks and greenways that Block Island offers. Our room was spacious, pleasantly furnished, immaculately clean, and quiet. Wifi worked great. The bed and linens were high quality. Every morning hot breakfasts were cooked individually, different every day, all very good. The grounds are lovely - one day we brought lunch back to eat at a table on the patio b/c it was the most pleasant place we could think to eat that afternoon! Plenty of parking in the small lot right in front of the inn. Best of all, Neal is a wonderful host - friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating. Hope to come back to Block Island some day and will stay here if we do!

I traveled the last week of May 2023 from AZ with my cousin from CA on a business trip.to Block Island to disassemble and remove a small aircraft off the island's airport. Having no firm date of arrival or departure the owner Neal did a fantastic job working with us, and supplying a clean. quiet, perfect room 1 minute from the airport. His Inn is hands down the cleanest and efficient lodging i have ever stayed at in my life (and I have traveled a lot across the US). Historic but modern, and picturesque. You can tell he re-invests his money on maintaining and making it a great place to stay. A home cooked breakfast started our day out every day. I am sure there are many nice choices for lodging on the island, but none, more friendlier, convenient, and cleaner. I intend one day to return with my wife to visit Block Island to explore its beauty, and you can count on that we will stay at the Old Town Inn. Bernie Fort Mohave, AZ
