Court Colman Manor

This just wasn't what i was expecting. The room is beyond its best. I had to go out for food as there wasn't anything edible, when you have been traveling all day this is the last thing you want to do. It's a shame these places have been left to rot so badly. It's no surpise people book with larger chains!

Very disappointed with last nights Christmas party event. Advertised as £60 per head for a luxurious 2course buffet. The buffet was FAR from luxurious, 1st course, variety of meat (this was nice) buttered boiled potatoes, pigs in blankets, Brie wedges, pizza balls, sweetcorn fritter, some sort of breaded mushroom ball, bao buns. 2nd course dessert, I did go up a little later so some may have gone but highly doubt it. I managed to get a plate of doughnuts and mini Swiss rolls for our table Overall the food gave the impression of let’s empty the freezer and stick it all on the table! The band, was good and played a good variety of songs but too loud so when the artist was speaking you couldn’t hear her clearly. Staff were friendly, a little slow in clearing tables but that’s not an issue really just an observation. So disappointing as we as a group had been looking forward to our night out. Unfortunately I would not recommend based on what we experienced

I recently had my wedding at Court Colman. Wow, it was the perfect day from start to finish. The staff are phenomenal, made us feel so calm and special, made our guests feel welcome, included and equally as soecial, and Alison the coordinator really went above and beyond, she kept me (the bride) feeling calm, she helped my mother when her hair was a disaster, she got everything ready and looking impeccable for us. Food was phenomenal day and night, and they even took some food to the honeymoon suite for us. Honestly they were incredible, went above and beyond. I'd love to do it again just to be there and experience the awesomeness again. Cant thank the staff enough for a flawless, perfect and truly magical day.

Stopped at the hotel for a hot chocolate during a hike. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. They even gave us cake (was delicious and home made) to eat. The environment was stunning, we sat by the lit fire and had a fabulous afternoon. Thank you court Colman.

We booked court Colman for our wedding after our original venue went into liquidation. As the saying goes “everything happens for a reason” and we were so glad it did. From the get go Alison was just AMAZING she allowed us to book all of the hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday night as we had guests travelling far and wide. On the Friday night 42 of us ate at the sister hotel - the great house which was really delicious and so well organised they even put on transport for us. The wedding itself was just perfect. Everything ran smoothly without a hitch. Alison and her team are just so experienced, organised and totally calm. Nothing is too much trouble for staff at court Colman. Our guests had an amazing weekend in a beautiful location and made memories that will last forever. Alison and your team you made our day amazing. Thank you so much.

Just want to say a massive thanks to Alison and the team for our wedding on the 1st of August. We booked the venue 2 years ago when we fell in love with the grounds and the space. Coming from a large family it was so nice to have the option of allowing all family and friends the chance to stay if they wanted to. Everyone is friendly and court Colman felt very welcoming from the beginning and we have enjoyed visiting court Colman many times with the wedding planning. The food was lovely! The buffet went down a treat. Many super thanks to Alison for being so down to earth and helping us have a great day, the venue was decorated exactly how we had hoped in our minds and more. So we appreciate the effort from Alison and all the other staff, there was also one staff member we would like to give a special mention To ( unfortunately didn’t catch her name) but i appreciated how she kept checking in on me and asking if I needed anything, on a day with such nerves really Helped. We can’t wait to come back and book our anniversary stay! Many thanks Mr and Mrs Wakely :)
