Best Newcastle-under-Lyme District Hotels

"Great receptionist who was very welcoming and friendly. Good location for access to the A500 and A34 roads as well as a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very dated and lack on soundproofing between the rooms is a major issue. I could hear the guy in the room below talking and could also hear the room next door opening and closing their toilet seat! I was awoken at 1am with an inconsiderate neighbour with their tv on very loud and coughing loudly. There is a main wing and smaller wing to the side. I stayed on the 1st floor in the main wing but I would recommend you ask for the 1st floor in the small wing to minimise the number of people around you and source of external noise. View from the room was nice however."

"The hotel was in a great spot to visit Keele umiversity and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The room was clean, a good size and very quiet. A nice touch to have bottles of water provided in the fridge too! Breakfast was cooked to order with a good choice of options every day. I would recommend this hotel to friends and definitely stay here again when visiting the area!"

"We chose this hotel for its location and on site for our sons graduation. We couldn't fault our stay. Arrived late and exhausted after a terrible 9 hour journey to a calm, efficient Jonathan who got everything sorted out quickly (thankyou!). He even managed to find us an emergency safety pin for the graduation gown. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, good quality linen toiletries and towels and plenty of storage space. Hotel was full for Keele university graduation but was still quiet and calm. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, hot and cold buffet choices, fresh breads and fruit. Gym on site, with a cafe attached to the hotel.Our son was also able to join us for breakfast the next day.Nothing was too much trouble for the team during our stay. We will still use this hotel as a base for future visits to our son, as we were very impressed with everything. Thankyou!"

"The boss is Chinese and very kind. He only charged 5 pounds for breakfast and he was very filling. The price of the hotel is very good. I slept well that night.
