The Trott House Inn is in a great location, within walking distance of the courthouse square in Newton. Parking and check-in were easy. I stayed in the Deal Room, and it was comfortable, clean, and roomy. I especially appreciated having a charging station right by the bed and having a luggage rack and hanging space. Breakfast was self-serve, which was fine with me. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

This isn't in a tourist destination, but if you need to stay in the area, it's perfect for those who appreciate a properly-restored and -maintained old house, tastefully furnished. It was quiet, the grounds are nice and the lot is large. The owner is friendly and laid-back and this is an inn where you can be completely private if you want, but they're around if you need them. Breakfast is self-serve and thoughtfully prepared and the owner accommodated a special request for me. Also, it's a really good value for this level of accommodation. Great alternative to the usual generic 3-star chain hotels.

I came to The Trott House Inn from SW Florida for a weekend alone having never been to the area. I had the most relaxing experience - from the moment I arrived and opened the door to the most charming home I've ever been in, complete with music, complementary chocolates, pastries and a fabulous coffee bar to the attention the hosts Miles and Makenzie took to make sure my time here was without a wrinkle and every lovely day until I left, it was truly amazing. I would absolutely recommend The Trott House, and look forward to coming for my next visit! Gina C.

Our stay at the Trott House Inn was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, our room was so cozy, and the entire inn was so clean and inviting! Our stay was incredibly romantic and just what we needed for a night getaway! We chose this over a hotel and so glad we did! Makenzie made a wonderful breakfast for us and the endless Nespresso coffee maker was just what we needed for a chilly afternoon! We will be back!
