Premier Inn Glasgow Newton Mearns (M77 J4)

After watching the stereophonics last night, we got back to the room and had a great night sleep. A gorgeous hot shower in the morning and a great vegan breakfast. The staff very helpful and accommodating

Where to start 😱 rooms were clean but one pillow each on bed was inadequate. The air conditioning was a hit or miss and the Wi-Fi was shocking. But my biggest concern was why I was asked what time I would like breakfast as when I went down there was no hot food available. I stood for a few minutes being totally ignored by the chef before I accually had to shout over was there any sausage bacon blackphdding tomatoes ect as all that was there was 3 hash browns and a dish of mushrooms, he then looked up at me and said I am cooking them now when he did put some bacon out a woman went up before me and took 3 rashers leaving me one, this is absolutely unexceptable for a hotel offering bed and breakfast not to be able to provide the hot breakfast. Needless to say we checked out and had breakfast elsewhere. I will not be returning.

Clean, comfortable and private accommodation. Great for an overnight stop on a long road trip. Also well located for access to Newton Mearns although arriving after 9 pm meant it was a struggle to check in and to find anything to eat in the area. McDonald’s was appalling but that wasn’t Premier Inn’s fault!

Room was as expected but let down by the resturant food. We paid extra when booking for the all you can eat breakfast and the Evening meal. The breakfast was not buffet style and was small and poorly cooked. The Evening meals were also small portions. Will try and find alternative arrangements if we ever return.

Check in was a joke, I had fully paid, booking app stated this, they said I owe further £20 they the figure on my app changed to I had balance of £20.02 to pay, this changed when she started inputing data in there pc, then would restaurant closed, and then fo refund which I still have not got, had to pay the extra, not at all happy, restaurant burst pipes seem to be the norm there's this was the excuse the last time we where there, and this will be the last time we stay at this hotel

Apart from the hideous internet speed, I had a good stay here. Finally I’ve found a premiere Inn that’s not freezing cold the whole time. Rooms have been refurbished, it’s nice and clean and there was adequate equipment in my standard room. What was exceptional was the staff. Reception were great about getting the tv to work and the girls in the restaurant were beyond helpful.
