Boteti Tented Safari Lodge

Comfortable bed in a luxury tent. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Staff transported luggage to and from tent. Food was tasty and wait staff attentive to needs. Beautiful setting next to Boteti River. Saw lots of many different animals including lions and a leopard Guide went out of his way to take you to where the animals were, thanks to communication with other guides in the area.

We had an amazing 6-day/5-night stay at Boteti and can’t recommend it highly enough. The tented accommodations were very comfortable, with the added luxury of a private outdoor bathroom (hot and cold water shower and toilet), connected to the tent via a sliding glass door—an ideal blend of nature and comfort. The staff—Syrian, Connie, and the wonderful Dominic leading the team—were absolutely exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Attentive and genuinely caring, they made sure we had every meal at the time that suited us best. One night, we returned late from safari, and they graciously stayed up to serve us dinner. While we didn’t catch the chef’s name, the food was phenomenal! Every meal was delicious, including the packed breakfast and lunch boxes we took on safari—such a treat! The tents and common areas were always impeccably clean, and fresh water was provided daily in our room, which was a thoughtful touch. Our tour guide, Kay, truly exceeded our expectations. His enthusiasm, knowledge of the flora and fauna, and sharp eye made each day’s drive exciting and educational. As a bonus, the safari vehicle had cozy fleece-lined ponchos for those chilly early mornings—such a thoughtful detail. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. This was a memorable experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend Boteti to anyone looking for a top-tier safari adventure

We had a great time the service was good and pure. The food was delicious. The tents where clean and the swimmingpool was clean too!

Staff is helpful, room is good and clean. I know we are in Botswana and I don’t expect air conditioner for rooms because electric power is from solar panel. I hope hotel can keep in mind one very important thing: don’t supply spaghetti made of yuca, for many people including us, this yuca will cause severe food allergy, which lasted for two days.

Tolle Unterkunft, direkt am Riva gelegen…

Wir waren Anfang Oktober für 4 Nächte im Boteti Camp und sehr positiv überrascht. Nach all den etwas schlechteren Bewertungen waren wir zunächst etwas skeptisch, allerdings können wir nach unserem Besuch die Kritik nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Wir waren rundum happy - die Zelte, der Pool, die Lapa, die Wege zwischen den Zelten und auch der Weg zum Camp waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Fluss hatte zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs leider kein Wasser - aber das ist die Natur. Das Essen war lecker, es wurde auch speziell auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und auch das Packen von Lunchpakten morgens um 4:30 Uhr war absolut gar kein Problem. Zudem hatten wir eine Ein-Tages-Reitsafari gebucht - hier war alles super organisiert und wir hatten einen tollen Tag. Von der Abfahrt bis zur Rückfahrt hat alles problemlos geklappt. wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ☺️
