We were given a very small room, even though we had booked a 20 sq. m. The room and the bed were very worn, there were no bathrobes or slippers (which are part of a 4-star hotel). We were told to stay in the room anyway because an unexpectedly large number of guests were arriving for a conference. We couldn't sleep at all for two nights. We were told that, as a gesture of goodwill, we could wait until 1 a.m. until a taxi arrived, which we did, but despite the promises and without our permission, the €185 was debited from a credit card that was not on file with the hotel.
