Hotels in Nice City Center, Nice

The location is exellent! Friendly staff in the reception. The room was fine, but very warm, so we could not sleep very well. We asked for the aircondition, but were told that it could not be used before May, so we just had to open the window (we stayed there from april 27th to may 2th). Outside it was very noisy from the tram and all the people and cars. The temperatur outside was 26˚ C plus the sun and inside the room it was 28˚C. The hotel should turn the AC on according to the weather and not the calender! The breakfast was average in a very small room.

Conveniently located, warm hotel. It's about 10 minutes away from the restaurant street Place du Pin, so it's easy to find food and drinks. The hotel is clean and has free water and sparkling water, which is very friendly to tourists visiting France in the hot summer. In addition, 2 welcome drinks will be given upon check-in. We chose beer and it tasted good. The hotel has an underground parking lot with about 10 parking spaces. It is recommended to reserve it in advance when booking. The entrance to the parking lot is a bit narrow, so be careful when entering. The only drawback is that the shower head has a thin water flow, which is not comfortable enough when taking a shower. 

Good value hotel even in high season. Location is very central, clean but size of standard rooms a little disappointing. Breakfast is average. Overall a good stop off and would consider again when in Nice.

The day shift staff speaks English and they are friendly. The hotel view is nice. The shower cap water pressure can be stronger. It is a short 10 mins walk to Port Limypia tram station. There is a carrefour supermarket across the street. It is next to IBIS Hotel. There are cafes nearby. Good for dinner or drinks with friends.

We stayed at this hotel in Nice during the National Day holiday. The public areas were very French and warm, the front desk and service staff were very friendly and considerate, and the breakfast was very rich, leaving us with good memories. The downside is that it is a little far from the core area (old town), about 20 minutes' walk, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the subway line to the airport. Also, I don’t know if it’s because there are few people living in the triple room, but the hygiene is average and the facilities are a bit old.

Very good hotel located in the center of Nice. Everything is within walking distance. Only a few steps to the Promenade des Anglais. Very comfortable beds, well organized room. Breakfast in a restaurant on the 8th floor with a view of the roof of Nice. A very rich breakfast buffet with hot dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon) and cold meats, delicious cheeses, vegetables, fruits and excellent sweet pastries and jams. The only minus is the poor quality coffee. Comfortable lobby with plenty of places to sit. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool and spa. The overall very good impression of the hotel was spoiled by the unsympathetic and unhelpful reception staff. Check-in took a very long time and was the worst experience of staying at this hotel. The breakfast service was very good, helpful and nice.

I had a wonderful night's stay at Mama Shelter Nice! The room was comfortable, quiet, and impeccably clean. The service and ambiance were top-notch, complemented by a super fun restaurant/bar. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the rooftop pool due to the weather, but I heard it's fantastic! For those arriving by train, the nearest station, Nice Riquier, is a bit shady and not the the safest. However, this shouldn't be a concern for guests arriving by taxi or other means. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to staying at more of their hotels around the world!

I was positively surprised when I arrived at the hotel: not only was is super centrally located but also offered great service and lovely rooms at a fantastic price! The hotel located is about 3min away from the airport tram stop Jean Medécin, 2min from Place Massena and 4min from the old town. My room was very clean and offered aircon/heating, fridge, haidryer, tv, kettle & complimentary. coffee/tea. The furniture and carpet looked well-maintained and the bed was very comfortable. I was warmly welcomed upon check-in by multilingual staff. I slept very well and can only but recommend this hotel!

I booked this hotel in advance for 2 nights when I came to travel in the south of France. The overall feeling was very good. 1. Location: It is within a 10-minute walk from Nice Riquier. There is also a tram bus station nearby. There is a Carrefour opposite the hotel for shopping, which is very convenient. 2. Facilities: You need to swipe your room card to enter and exit the hotel and the elevator, which gives you a full sense of security. There is a kitchen, refrigerator and iron in the room, which basically meets the needs of a family for a long trip. There is a small balcony facing the street. It is very comfortable to have a cup of coffee and blow the wind in the morning. The only drawback is that the quality of the hair dryer is very average and the air volume is relatively small. 3. Service: The reception at the hotel front desk was enthusiastic. We arrived at the early flight at about 9 o'clock in the morning. We were going to store our luggage and go out for a walk. Unexpectedly, the front desk told us that we could check in early. This is also the first time I can check in early after playing in Europe for so long. Thumbs up.

I had a great time in Nice. The only thing that made me think afterwards was the fact that if there was no one at the reception and monitoring the entrance area, there was a chance that anyone could just walk right up to the room door during the day. But despite these thoughts, I felt very comfortable and safe.
