Hotels in Nice Waterfront, Nice

The hotel is wonderful, the staff are exceptional, especially Saloua who was all smiling, warm, very kind and friendly. However the experience would have been perfect if the bed mattress was updated as we struggled all night and woke up with sore back. The gentleman at the front desk on duty at 2am (8 April) offered solutions which is appreciated. Will definitely recommend and go back, hopefully then the bad mattresses are replaced!

The 12 square meter room is really too small, but the sea view facing the Bay of Angels in Nice also makes us forget the size of the space temporarily. In front of the building is the beach of the English Street, behind the building is the market of the old town of Nice, and opposite is the City Hall. Sitting on the terrace, you can watch the tourists coming and going, just in time for the French music festival in summer. The breakfast is rich, and you can squeeze fresh juice by yourself. The apple pie and lemon pie are especially delicious.

You can see the Nice Carnival from your room! The building is located along the parade route, so from the ocean view rooms you can get a view like the one in the photo, and from the park view rooms you can see the spectator stands and the park. If you want to get a good view of the parade, I recommend a room with a balcony on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The family in the room next door brought confetti and let it rain down from above to liven up the atmosphere 🥳 I think it's a great way to enjoy the parade safely even with children 👍The room is cute too!

Despite how it might appear modest from the street side, it ended up being quite a pleasant stay. Yes you have to climb the stairs. Yes you need to remember codes to enter the building. But overall it’s in a good location not too far from the beach and price is reasonable. Two owners are lovely persons.

A small, pleasant hotel a few meters from the sea promenade. There are restaurants in the vicinity and 2 supermarkets opposite the hotel. Distance from the railway station 15 minutes on foot, from the tram from the airport 8 minutes on foot. The hotel rooms are smaller, which is standard in France. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful, on the last day we got breakfast at 6:00 a.m., despite the fact that it was officially only from 7:30 a.m. The hotel provides luggage storage for early arrival or late departure. We got a free upgrade to a superior room facing the courtyard. The room is new, clean, comfortable. The bathroom is also small but clean and well equipped. Cleaning and towel change was done every day and the cleaning was detailed. The breakfast was excellent (yogurts, cereals, ham, cheese, sausages, scrambled eggs, croissants, cakes, fruit, fruit puree, jams,...), the weak link was the coffee. The drip coffee in a thermos was weak, the coffee from the machine (cappuccino, latte, cocoa) was made of powder. At the bar, they have an espresso machine, with such a small number of guests, the bartender would surely manage to make everyone a normal high-quality espresso, and the guests would appreciate it.

It was very noisy at the first night in the room that they gave me. And changed into other room that was okay. The room 305 was too small and facing to the main street and it was very noisy i didnt liked at all.

Nice location and swimming pool but absolutely not worth the price even for a 4 star hotel. Room is small with few amenities and even though the view is great, the breakfast buffet is rather small with limited options for a 4 star hotel.

It's a good location, just a few minutes walk from the tram station from the airport, and just a few minutes from the beach. Check-in is at 3pm, but we arrived before 12pm and were allowed to check in right away. Because of this, the amenities weren't ready, but we called and they were ready right away. Even when we offered to give a tip to the staff, they didn't smile and didn't accept it, and were very friendly. There are many restaurants and a supermarket near the hotel, so we could buy desserts after meals and alcohol we didn't have enough to drink. There was also a terrace with a nice view of the square in front of the sea. The breakfast was filling and very delicious.

The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the train station, a 7-minute walk from the airport L2 line platform, and a 2-minute walk from the beach. The overall location is satisfactory. There are scaffolding construction along the street downstairs, and the environment during the stay was not very satisfactory. The check-in process was very smooth and self-service. The room is next to the front desk and it is noisy, but the front desk guy is friendly and friendly, and check-out is also very convenient. There was no active room service during the three-day stay, and there was no room cleaning and tidying, which is quite poor. The facilities in the room are relatively complete

The hotel is well selected, the location is excellent, just across the street is the beach, three minutes walk is Massena Square, downstairs turn right is the restaurant gathering area, the hotel turns towards the beach and there is a McDonald's, the neighborhood is generally safe, there is also a small Asian convenience store downstairs next to the hotel, you can buy mineral water, fruit, instant noodles, etc., you don't have to worry about food and drink. The disadvantages are also quite obvious, that is, the hotel is relatively old, and you may not have too high expectations for the hygiene and facilities inside. I booked the cheapest interior room, the room is a little small, and the design of the TV wall in the middle cuts the space a bit, and there is no place to put the big suitcase after spreading it out. Location is king, if you don't have high requirements for the room hardware (and the price is right), this Mercure is still very good
