This hotel is lovely. Great location close to the road network and airport but actually peaceful. Set in beautiful gardens. The rooms are quirky, not much hanging space and there’s no kettle ( these were my only minor gripes) There is a dining room where you can use the coffee machine and help yourself to crockery etc. You can also use this room to eat your own food. We set it up for my birthday tea. There’s no bar as such but drinks are available from the fridge. You can also take your own drinks in. Breakfast is lovely but yes the staff can be a little bit miserable. I’d happily stay here again

Ik ben daar nu meerdere keren geweest in het restaurant en dacht dat het eenmalig was, maar na mijn laatste bezoek, moet er toch iets van het hart. Wij hebben een high-tea gehouden in de sfeerstal met een groep van 7 mensen. Locatie is prachtig, het eten is lekker en het bedienend personeel erg vriendelijk. Er is daar echter 1 persoon, de bedrijfleidster of zelfs eigenaresse die totaal onbeschofd is en totaal niet weet wat klantvriendelijkheid is. Niet in de wieg gelegd voor horeca. Kan totaal de drukte niet aan in de zaak, waardoor ze mensen afsnauwd. Niets is mogelijk en zoek het uit, is haar instelling. Erg jammer!

Tijdens lunchtijd aangekomen op een mooi en druk terras. Tijdje gewacht om geholpen te worden voor een plekje. Wel door bediening gezien dat ik stond te wachten maar geen enkele blijk gastvrijheid of teken van welkom. Na enige tijd zelf vriendelijk om een plekje gevraagd. Was lastig want "vol" en "geen plek meer beschikbaar" en "voorlopig komt er niets vrij". Vervolgens zelf een suggestie gedaan waar wel degelijk plek was. Uiteindelijk daar plaats kunnen nemen.

Room Comfort: I was particularly impressed with the room sizes, which were more than spacious. The comfortable bed and elegant furnishings contributed to a relaxing and satisfying stay.

We hebben hier ons 40 jarig huwelijksfeest gevierd. Locatie is prachtig! Het was boven verwachting! Het was op en top goed verzorgd. Prima communicatie ook vooraf. Gezellig ingericht, maar mochten ook zelf versieren. Alles was mogelijk. Zelf microfoon en muziekbox/ luidspreker meegenomen. Eten, we hadden gekozen voor bqq buffet, was voortreffelijk!, erg lekker, vers en uitgebreid. Taart was ook heerlijk. Bediening was top, goede sfeer. Gasten waren uitermate tevreden. Voor herhaling vatbaar. En we troffen het met het weer. Lekker op het terras kunnen zitten. Nogmaals bedankt voor alles!
