Koduchi No Yado Tsurukamedaikichi

**We really enjoyed our stay at Koduchi No Yado Tsurukamedaikichi, especially the food.** Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a great variety of fresh seafood and fish. The ingredients tasted very fresh, and we especially enjoyed the selection of fish. At breakfast, there were **four different types of fish to choose from**, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Dinner was also delicious and included **puffer fish**, which was a memorable part of the meal. Another highlight was the **yuzu wine**, which we really enjoyed. In addition to the yuzu wine, we were also able to choose **one complimentary drink**, with options including a soft drink or sake. It was a nice added touch and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the **rooftop onsen felt a little small**. However, the onsen on the first floor was considerably larger and more spacious, so there was still a great option for enjoying the hot spring. There is also a **beautiful river right next to the onsen**, which makes for a lovely setting and is a great spot for taking pictures. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and especially appreciated the fresh ingredients, excellent seafood, and delicious meals. **The food was definitely one of the highlights of our stay**, and we would be happy to return in the future.

Perfect traditional Japanese hotel with the good locattion . The overall ambience of the hotel is the best for those who need perfect stay for relaxation. An outdoor onsen experience with mountain and river view is the thing you can't miss. The hotel is very clean both in public area and in the guest room. Everything is in a very good condition and well maintained. Japanese style full course breakfast is also perfect and impressed.

Beautifully decorated place, very clean. Onsen with views. Only a few steps away from the bus stop so location isn't too bad either.

We loved the hotel. Great location, great atmosphere and wonderful room. The room was with a private onsen  which is a must  With small kids. The down side was breakfast - only Japanese traditional food which isn’t eatable for 6 year old western kids.

Amazing hotel next to the river. Big room, friendly staff, onsen, great location. We loved this place!

I stayed here for two nights with my wife frim Australia. A beautiful ryokan next to the nikko shrine and river. We enjoyed the stay. Only downside, maybe not to others, was the serving staff was not japanese which can be a benefit in English communication but I was expecting authentic Japanese hospitality more.

We had a great time in Nikko. The hotel is clean, very refined, rooms are great and the sentō is just amazing!

To my surprise, many of the hotel staff spoke English, which greatly facilitated communication. Considering the price I paid, the service and food quality were excellent. Impeccable.

I've lost.my bag in the bus when I arrived at the hotel. I immediately seek the hotel staffs for help. They were very helpful and making calls to the places that I've may have left it. Train station, bus company. Lastly, was very lucky to have found it back. Someone picked up and passed it to the bus driver. In Japan, there's always a chance of finding back lost item. It's very safe.
