I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Ningbo 238 International Youth Hostel, and I must say, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Here are the key issues I encountered during my stay:
Cleanliness
Unkempt Rooms: The room was not cleaned properly. Dust and dirt were visible on surfaces, and the bathroom had not been sanitized.
Bad Odor: The sheets and towels had a musty smell, which made it uncomfortable to use them. It felt as though they hadn't been washed in a long time.
Comfort
Hard Beds: The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. I struggled to get a good night's sleep, which is one of the main reasons for staying at a hotel.

I know I can't expect much as this is a budget hostel, however I think the toilet should be cleaned more often. The toilet smells so bad. Other than the toilet, I think it's a good budget choice (and definitely not for the weak)

The overall hygiene is very clean, there is an auntie cleaning every day~ The sheets and quilts are washed and dried~ It is worth mentioning that the hot water in the room is really sufficient and large, comparable to that in the hotel! The boss lady is also very enthusiastic~ I will stay here again next time
