Great all round

I made a mistake by selecting this hotel, it is very isolated and away from town with tough road access. It would be good for somebody who's looking for a retreat. However, there are many better options near to Tam Coc town where you can have access to restaurants, shops, tours, night walk, etc.

De tuin van Eden !! Prachtig !! We verbleven in een (stenen) huisje. Ruim, heel netjes, nette badkamer, alles erop en eraan. Ze hebben een heel ruime kaart voor diner en het is ook super lekker !! Het ontbijt was ook lekker. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en goed Engelstalig. We hadden uitgecheckt maar wilden onze bagage daar nog laten wat geen probleem was. Toen we 's avonds terug kwamen konden we gerust nog een douche nemen in 1 van de bussen die er staan en waar men ook kan verblijven (maar die zou ik niet aanraden). Heel vriendelijk dat we nog gebruik konden maken van de douche. We namen daar dan ook een diner wat heel lekker was en dan vertrokken we naar de nachttrein. Dit is het een echte aanrader. Een pareltje tussen de bergen en het groen !

There are lots of variable reviews for An’s Eco Garden. I am sure this comes from expectations and I suspect from who made the booking (yourself or an agent). If you are used to modern 4-5star hotels and never stayed in / want to stay in a rustic 3-4 star more basic lodge then this is not the place for you. If you are happy to stay in a slightly rural, rough around the edges but with beautiful views, nestled in the mountains, relax in the beautiful pool watching goats traverse the rocks with a cold drink and in the evening have delicious food this is the place. Yes the bathrooms is 3 star and some mould due to humidity - but is not dirty. Yes there are crickets, spiders, lizards and other insects that will get in your room - but they can be removed or will run away. But the aircon works to cool the bedroom, the views from the bed / your terrace is stunning. The rustic design is like travelling in the early days of tourism in South East Asia. Come with the right expectations and you will enjoy your time. We stayed 1 night and loved it - especially meeting the lovely cat who gave us so much love at dinner.

Hôtel très mal situé car loin de tout; chambre qui sent l’humidité, vétuste d’un autre temps par sa décoration et réparé dans l’urgence par des bricoleurs non professionnels ; toilette qui fuit, douche avec colonne très usagée et également insonorisation inexistante : nous avons l’impression que nous voisins de chambre dorment avec nous!!

Beautiful grounds and great staff We enjoyed our stay, the grounds and personnel were fantastic. We stayed in a quaint bungalow with a wall that was the actual rock so when it rained, this adjoining room got cooler and humid. We discovered a good gap in the screen where mosquitoes could enter but the issue was quickly and effectively fixed. Restaurant was great and the buffet breakfast was fulsome and varied. We would be happy to return.
