Nongkhiaw the Float House

Chambre propre mais pas assez de serviettes . Lit confortable mais vérifiez bien les lits avant de vous coucher Vue magnifique sur l’eau . Accueil charmant et souriant Attention à n’apporter qu’un petit sac car les escaliers sont rudes pour descendre à la maison flottante Service de transfert pour aller en ville dans une voiture propre , certes horaires un peu bizarres . Si vous ratez la navette, à vos risques et périls à pied .. Petits déjeuners absolument à revoir , ils ne sont pas bons . Pour le prix un effort serait à faire Hélas le lieu pourrait être magique mais il manque une âme , un quelque chose qui pourrait sublimer le moment passé , 2 Nuits sont suffisantes.

A place that has great potential but the management and service really lacking. The hotel is situated a 15 minute dusty ad bumpy road from the village. When we arrived midday we were told the kitchen was closed that day and two days later the same thing. For breakfast in a country with amazing fruit we would get artificial juice, the bread is old which they heat up and the croissants are not cooked well on the inside! Once we asked for cold beer and they only had hot and told us to put it in our fridge to cool it. There is some garbage outside which no one bothers to pick up. At night time the front desk is closed after 9 pm and in their rules they say you have to back in your room by midnight. Not that there is much to do in the village but strange to have a curfew. When we left we left the key in the room. When we got to the bus station they called us that they could not find the key and made us pay for it. It’s not their fault but many boats pass by the floating house with loud party music and you can hear the loud music down the river from the restaurant. There is a bamboo which prevents the house from moving too much but ours was loose and banged against our room when there was some movement. In general a place with a lot of unmet potential. For the price they charge one would expect much better service.

Extremely clean and the location was amazing. We felt relaxed from the first minute to the last. The staff are helpful and offer a free shuttle in and out of town up until 9pm. The float house is super comfortable and full of luxury! The bath is spacious and the shower is also comfortable. Clean, spacious bathroom and more than enough space in the sleeping/living area of the room. Your "balcony" including just to relax, over the water is top and nice spacious. You'll dive right off. Your balcony into the water. Delicious! The staff was very helpful and friendly, the day of check-out they brought us even after our new stay.
