City Center Motel ★★

"This was the worst experience we've ever had with a motel or hotel. We arrived in the evening, and the office's open sign was on, and there was a phone number listed on the door. A man answered, and I said we have a reservation and are here to check in. He said, "we are closed," and I said ok, but we have a reservation. Is there a key box or code we use to get into our room? And he replied, "Nope. We are closed, " and I asked if there is someone on standby for situations like this? And he said, "No, come back tomorrow," and then I asked if I would be getting a refund then, and he said, "Nope. You gotta figure that out with Orbitz, that's not our problem, " and then hung up on me. There was no communication stating that if we didn't make it there in a certain amount of time that we would miss our reservation. We then reached out to Orbitz to request a refund, who informed us that they must be able to get ahold of the motel to authorize the refund, which when they called the motel, they refused the refund. This is the worst situation I have had and by far the worst motel we've ever tried to stay at. Not only was the customer service terrible, but the motel itself was super sketchy and gross looking. Others in the area said it's a terrible hotel that literally horror stories come out of all the time. My biggest piece of advice to anyone looking to stay in Bend, Oregon, is to avoid this place at all costs!!"
