Ant Infestation Ruined Our Stay. Avoid!! It wasn’t all bad. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful. Warm, welcoming, and truly a bright spot in our experience. She deserves recognition for her professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, I’m leaving a negative review because of a serious ant infestation in our room. Throughout our stay we were killing ants repeatedly, and by the end, the entire room was overtaken. Three out of four of us ended up covered in bites, and the situation made my son ill. We had no choice but to cut our family vacation short. A huge disappointment, especially since we had been looking forward to this trip. What made things worse was the lack of response at checkout. We mentioned the issue, but no guest recovery was offered. At the rate we paid, that felt like a real slap in the face. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good, but unfortunately the bug issue completely overshadowed anything positive. I cannot recommend this property until they address the pest problem and improve how they handle serious guest concerns.

The staff were some of the best ever at a hotel. They were friendly and helpful the whole time. The gym had three of the five machines broken, when reported I was allowed to go to another location near by to use their gym. A good solution. The pool was nice to cool down in, small, but clean. The breakfast was fine, nothing great, but it was good, clean, and full. The only real issue is the bed was old and it had a dip to the middle. It is time for new beds.

We had a reservation for 12/22 & in the meantime we had a death in the family & had out of state family fly in and stay with us. The death occurred on 12/11 & service was 12/16. We were supposed to travel to S. Florida on the 13 to celebrate Christmas with our youngest son & family, however had to cancel. So after getting house guest to airport we drove to S. Florida on 12/19. On 12/22 we began our drive to Greenville, SC to spend Christmas with a daughter & family. My husband is 83 & felt he could drive no further than Savannah, GA where we made a reservation at a Spring Hill. The manager, Radu Moldovan requested a copy of the obituary which we provided and he decided that the time frame did not meet a refund. Are you kidding me that this heartless person can make this decision? As a gold elite Marriott member I am disgusted with this outcome and find it hard to believe Marriott would agree with this. BEWARE!

The hotel was full. Lot’s of people. We got in super late and the receptionist was very kind. Everything was very clean and organized and that made it more welcoming. The rooms are as pictured and very comfortable. The veggie patties for Breakfast were yummy. I will stay here again.

For the price you really can’t beat this! The room was very nice and our only complaints were that the bed/mattress was a bit uneven to sleep on and the breakfast was just average (nothing too special) but got the job done:) we enjoyed our stay! the staff were super nice and we stayed during a storm where the power went out and the staff gave us complimentary ice-cream which was a really sweet touch! Overall would recommend!! I think what really makes this place stand out is the staff and attentiveness to the customer!

I give a 2star rating bc of the hotel staff that clearly doesn’t understand customer satisfaction I stay 2 days the day of check out I overslept past almost checkout so I kindly called down to get a late checkout explaining the situation to be rudly told at approx 11:50 that I could not get a late checkout and I need to be gone by 12 I simply asked for 30 min complementary she stated no bc my reservation doesn’t specify gold or platinum status so I hung up on her face after calling her full of ….💩and ran to write this review I never in my life traveled somewhere and not got an a complementary 15 minute 10 minute 30 minute late check out because of the circumstances I will not be returning and I hope this review affects their sales. Customer service needs to be done a lot better than this.
