Northam Caravan Park

Great stay lived our site close to toilet and camp kitchen. Kids missed a playground and toaster was faulty in camp kitchen but otherwise no complaints will definitely be back!!! Easy to access, easy after hours check in everyone was very friendly!

The caravan park is so poorly designed, the first spot they put us in was a mud puddle, couldn't get in or out of car or van without stepping in mud. We ask for a different site which was better. but the caravan is extremely tight to get vans in and out. Every van that was arriving and leaving had issues. We scuffed up our caravan rims on ridiculously placed concrete green bollards, our van is 19.6ft. You definitely would really struggle with a van any bigger. One guest actually put some tape there to alert caravanner's of the danger. The facilities were good and very clean, and the people working there all seemed friendly. But unfortunately, due to such a terrible set up we wouldn't recommend.

We had a temp manager while the other was away. Everyone was fine to deal with, they have drive through sites which are probably good for larger vans. Amenities seemed updated and fine. There was at least some greenery around the park and appeared to be cared for. Spots over the back looked really nice with a paddock/ creek outlook. Site was quiet but you could hear the nearby trains. Close to town and amenities were clean.

Stayed twice, each time for a night. Park a bit out of town (5-10mins), not far from the highway, opposite the race track & quiet. Park is large with a mixture of cabins, permanent guests & short stays. Didn't enter office either time with checkin info in a box on entry. Site was OK- able to drive through both times, with large trees providing shade. Various amenities blocks - one was a lot older but newer blocks more attractive to use. Quiet comfortable country stay.

I arrived late and the key to my cabin was left for me. Unfortunately, I had not been advised of this, and the area where the key was left was not lit, as was the entire 'reception area'. I was able to make contact with someone who came and showed me where the key was located. The cabin stunk of paint, there is only one very small window in the bathroom to enable fresh air to attempt to reduce the smell. There is a sliding door as entry, which does not have a screen, so could not be left open. The bathroom door does not stay closed unless something is placed against it to stop it sliding open. There was no hot water the on arrival. I later learned it was due to the taps being plumbed the wrong way around. Pity there is no notification of this. There is no indoor dining furniture, it is on the veranda. No seating inside the cabin except for the bed. The 'garden' area is overgrown and the pond was green. Email communication indicated payment would be taken a week prior to stay, but the payment was taken at the time of booking. Very disappointing and will not return.

Been staying here 2 times a week for over 6 years love the park today got put in a cabin that had been split into 2 cabins 18b hear everything neighbours are saying won't be staying there anymore if get put in one of these cabins again not impressed at all
