"Nice hotel that we haven’t visited for a few years because of price increases. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Check in good and great staff all round. Only problems were the bed is much smaller than in Holiday Inn Express , the shower had no connection strip to connect panel to bath therefore a flooded floor, also no full length mirror for dressing."

"We have stayed here before with no issues. The hotel is under renovation now, some rooms have been remodelled. We arrived around 7/8 pm on a Sunday night after travelling from Italy with airport delays. The front desk put us in a room adjacent to renovations. We were disturbed from our sleep at 7 am by the renovations literally next door. We went to front desk to ask for a room change and luckily they offered it. This meant we had to pack up and set up again in an upstairs hotel room. The gentleman at the front desk was lovely. However, this hotel has no elevator and no air conditioning. Location was great however we were disappointed that we had the inconvenience of moving rooms which could have been avoided if we were booked away from the renovations when we initially checked in. I do not feel this Hilton lives up to the standard that other Hiltons have."

"I arrived at the travel lodge at 23.15 where I had to wait for 15 minutes for a staff member to come and answer the door and check me in!! Only to be told I should have called a number which I didnt have! To reach her to open the door and that she was the only person on shift! Ridiculous!! Maybe the number should be visable on the door or in view of the door so that i could call!! Obviously its not her fault if shes the only person on shift but maybe there should be someone at check in to make sure that when people arrive theyre not stood outside calling the bell on and off constantly until someone answers. Very disappointed as I use travel lodge a lot"
