Rose and Crown

We returned to the Rose and Crown last night - Family of 6 - firstly we met with friendly staff to show us to our table - drinks were served quickly and again Happy/ friendly - Our food was absolutely amazing - from starters- main meals and desserts ( our meals were all different from steak- sea bass - burgers - mixed grill- curry - scampi) with them all cooked to perfection - as a family we love our family time out for food and our night was simply brilliant x - Thank you to everyone at the Rose and Crown for making our evening a memorable one - The Davies Family xx

This place is so charming. Low beams and authenticity. The bar and dining areas are really nicely coordinated, so the place is atmospheric but you still have as much privacy and comfort for your group as you would want. Food was excellent. Service superb. Staff genuinely warm and friendly. We all enjoyed our stat

This was a forced stop as I was picking some equipment up and the round trip was too much for a January weekend. I was dubious when I saw the price but it was just for one night so here we go… It was brilliant. We got the last parking space and the car park was heaving, we knew this would be good. The room was everything you need and well appointed. It was late so a quick freshen up and we were at the bar. Shortly after seated and fed. The room was a stones throw but it was sil nt up there. Next morning we got parkrun in and headed back for the 11:00am checkout when we enquired about breakfast. They couldn’t do enough to assist then we had a real old school shower piping hot and forceful before heading off… This is exactly as it should be and they have nailed it here. Brilliant place to stop. Many thanks. I’m sorry that I spilled my pint into my trousers but I appreciate how quick you reacted…
