FASQ Hotel

Très bon hôtel avec des chambres confortables au centre de Nouakchott, avec salle de sport, piscine intérieur et rouf top et room service 24/24, le personnel très serviable surtout Mme. Teissir à la réception toujours souriante, petit déjeuner copieux

Fasq est le dernier hôtel ouvert à NCK, 5 étoiles. C'est un endroit très agréable, le personnel est vraiment exceptionnel, très accueillant, souriant, sympathique et serviable. Côté chambre : absolument rien à redire, literie très confortable, très calme (avec des voisins "normalement" bruyants), on n'entend pas la tuyauterie, ce qui est vraiment agréable, le service est impeccable. Côté restaurant, il y un restaurant qui sert toute la journée en bas, très bien, belle carte. On trouve aussi un restaurant au niveau du roof-top, vraiment très agréable. Il y a un spa, avec piscine, Hammam (service hammam marocain proposé), sauna, massage avec du personnel très compétent, une salle de sport, un salon de coiffure et une parfumerie. Côté, prix, c'est assez variable et même surprenant : c'est un hôtel de luxe, en Mauritanie. Donc forcément, c'est assez cher, environ 200 € la nuit. C'est certain que pour le même prix, à Paris, on aurait un choix encore plus vaste, comme des laits végétaux au petit-déjeuner (qui coûte 24 € au Fasq, c'est assez onéreux). Mais on n'est pas à Paris, et c'est agréable d'être dans un hôtel comme le Fasq quand on rentre le soir. A contrario, la langouste - complète - est à 19 euros, renversant. Au spa, un massage relaxant est à 30 euros, mais le soin du visage est à 70 euros. La fixation des prix est donc surprenante. Un Sheraton est construit en face, immense, qui attend des autorisations pour vendre certains produits avant d'ouvrir. A voir si cela fera baisser ou revoir les prix du Fasq. En tout cas, le FASQ est un bel hôtel pour travailler sur NCK.

The hotel has outstanding service. I did not stay at the hotel. I needed my boots cleaned since they were wet and smelled from the fish market. The hotel graciously cleaned my boots for a nominal charge while I had a hammam and massage, which were outstanding and very reasonably priced. The hotel staff was super helpful to me. When I exited my spa treatments, my luggage which my guide dropped off and my boots were waiting for me in the locker room. Wow, I will be staying here next time.

Well located in the city center, the hotel is comfy, quiet and clean. The food is good and varied, especially breakfast, and the personnel is very friendly. Pool, Spa and Gym available until late evening. Several nice restaurants at a walking distance.

I had an amazing experience at Hotel Fasq! The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast at the restaurant. Hassan, the professional in charge, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His dedication and expertise truly made the experience unforgettable. The variety and quality of the breakfast options were outstanding. I highly recommend this place and especially Hassan’s exceptional service!

For a business hotel this fits the quality for Nouakchott. There will be a new hotel that will open soon across the street but I still think that this hotel is a win. On the rooftop the staff there is awesome and very friendly. I used to come up to the rooftop every night and sit on the computer and enjoy the skylight of Nouakchott. I think that is a great evening meet up and place to sit and chat. I highly recommend it as a place to sit quietly and work the evening. The food menu is different but my number one place to unwind after work. The elevators were my biggest hate of the entire hotel. The elevators are not programmed correctly and work in a random operation as if they are operating on separate commands vs the same. Elevators for big buildings should stagger themselves to ensure the quickest reliability and access of the elevator but for some reason if you push UP it will stop at your floor and go down. The gym is nice and something that that I was shocked to see. The gym provides a good atmosphere for basic workouts and cardio. The spa is located at the gym, the staff for the spa/gym were very respectful and my massage by the gentleman was just what I needed it after traveling. Kudos to him! The kitchen staff disappointed me more than the elevator. It was very disheartening to order my omelets every morning and unless the young lady from Senegal or other gentleman was not available I didn't want to eat. From my minced chicken club sandwich to my food put into the incorrect room, I had lost a lot of patience with the restaurant. The waiter/waitress were always respectful and accommodating but when it came to the food I could pass on it. NOTE: The chef at the restaurant made a better club sandwich. Housekeeping, no issues and my room was clean consistently the same everyday. Front desk was very helpful and exhibited a high regard of customer satisfaction. Overall, my stay was good besides the food and elevator. Air conditioner was good, bathroom was clean and good.
