Residence Inn Novato Sonoma

Outstanding one-night stay at this brand new property. Marriott status benefits were recognized at the maximum level including an upgrade to a two-bedroom suite (through the Nightly Upgrade Awards process). Loved the modern conveniences of filtered water stations and EV charging. It is extremely well-run by the friendly, attentive staff. We were blown away by the warm welcome we received from Jasmine and her front office team. They make you feel like family from the second you arrive. Kudos as well to the young man with dark hair who maintains the interior and exterior of the property. He appeared to be omnipresent...cleaning the parking area, polishing the elevators..we loved the pride he took in maintaining the hotel. Breakfast was surprisingly good (for an American travel-hotel type chain). Look out for Garnell (spelling?) who manages the area. He is a gem of a person...could not do more for you. This hotel is a great place to stay. Strongly recommended.

Well played Marriott...well played 😃 It opened in December 2024 and still had that new hotel smell! It was a very pleasant stay, staff was friendly, breakfast was plentiful with a nice variety. We just went for a quick getaway as a base for a day trip to Point Reyes. We'd definitely stay again without hesitation.

The front desk staff were super helpful, friendly, and made checking in super easy. The cooks for breakfast were super yummy and different every day. Definitely would book again
