Spent three nights at the Ranald for our visit to Oban and Iona. Great location. Rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Not the most luxurious, but functional, efficient, and friendly. Recommend without reservation.

Spent 15 days in Scotland, least favorite place. Limited parking, poor wi-fi, extremely small room/shower (low cost end), staff seemed dis-interested in helping with issues, better options are likely available. Good location but that's about it.

Was at the Ranald Hotel for one night. Great time had, welcome at Reception was great, made to feel very welcomed. Room was spacious, clean and lovely with comfy bed. Loved the breakfast, could not find any negatives. Lovely stay and will return for longer next time.

Second stay here and yet again was excellent. Staff very friendly, hotel clean and continental breakfast was way above the norm. Great location, just a few minutes from transport links and town. Only downside was no lift if you have mobility issues, but you can't have everything. Would certainly return again.

From walking into reception and being greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist to leaving the apartment, I could not fault anything. The apartment was spacious and very clean, it had everything that you could expect. I highly recommend this hotel / apartments The bed was very comfortable.

Fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. Room spacious and very clean. Staff great - friendly and professional. I Would definitely book again and already planning our next adventure to the seafood capital of Scotland. Everything is within short walking distance.

Stayed for one night when visiting friends who lived locally, easy to find, no issues with parking on street. Staff are lovely, room nice and clean, fab breakfast much better than expected given how small the restaurant looked. Shower was good.
