Campbells Loft

James provided some excellent suggestions of restaurants in the area and things to do. We dined at two of the restaurants recommended and both were excellent. They were also likely locations that we wouldn’t have happened upon on our own. The wee loft was in a good location, with an easy walk to McCaig’s Tower and downtown Oban (a slightly more challenging walk back - to be expected in hilly Oban). The loft was clean, but we found the beds and furniture a tad uncomfortable. There were some oddities with the plumbing (took ages to get hot water to run in the kitchen faucet, had to run the tap in the sink to turn on the shower). It was extremely humid and the property would benefit from a dehumidifier or a fan or two. The property was equipped with everything we needed - even a couple of Glen Cairn glasses for whisky (a nice touch!). Thanks James for the pleasant stay and excellent restaurant suggestions.

Recommend The flat was quite comfortable. James was a most accommodating host. He provided lots of “extra” touches that made the visit even more comfortable. He shared some whisky and there was milk for coffee and some hot cereal in the room 😊
