Obzor Beach Resort

The hotel is worth at most 2 stars. The food was very poor, tasting as if it had been stored for days, and most of it clearly came from packages. Desserts were unappetizing, soggy, and not fresh. The atmosphere wasn’t welcoming either – staff members rarely greeted guests, not even at dinner, and many of them seemed unfriendly. The terrace where meals were served was also dirty and not cleaned properly. The apartment was spacious, but again not well maintained. Several things were broken, and at times there was no hot water or even no water from the taps at all. Room cleaning was minimal – just fresh towels and new garbage bags – while sand from the nearby beach remained everywhere despite our requests for cleaning supplies. Communication was difficult, as hardly anyone spoke English; staff mostly responded in Bulgarian, which guests couldn’t understand. Even when asking questions, the answers were often rude or dismissive. On top of that, many services cost extra, even though we had booked an all-inclusive package. The only real advantage of the stay was the location right on the beach. Otherwise, the hotel doesn’t deserve anything close to 4.5 star

Slechte hotel max 2 sterren waard. Eten is enorm smerig en proeft alsof het er al een paar dagen ligt, ook komt alles uit verpakking. Toetjes zijn ook vies en sompig. Mensen zijn enorm chagrijnig overal, ze zeggen niet eens goeiemorgen of goeieavond bij het avondeten. Ook was het terras bij het eten niet goed schoongemaakt. Het appartement was wel groot alleen wederom niet goed schoongemaakt. Veel dingen waren kapot, warm water werkte niet of er kwam helemaal geen water uit de kraan. Personeel is gemeen en als je ze iets vraagt geven ze brutaal antwoord terug. Bijna alles kost geld ook al heb je all inclusief geboekt. Kamers werden bijna nooit schoongemaakt alleen schone handdoeken en nieuwe vuilniszakken. Vanwege de zee dichtbij komt er erg veel zand in de kamers en dat werd niet schoongemaakt, ook als we vroegen of ze iets hadden zodat wij zelf het zand konden weghalen werd er geen actie ondernomen. Mensen spreken totaal geen Engels en praten gewoon in het Bulgaars tegen je ook al begrijp je er niks van. De ligging van de appartementen is wel erg mooi op het strand, maar dat is ook wel het enige. Zeker geen 4,5 ster waard.

The sea view apartment and beach brilliant apart from that where do you start if your self catering you struggle to get fresh produce and meat at the local supermarket on site or in Obzor Town you need to find a Lidl.The apartment is decent but no chopping board and in desperate need of repairs especially the sleeper couch/setee you can feel the springs . There is no communication form the Hotel nor our tour agent so it is difficult to navigate your way around the resort and town There is no welcome pack either. Housekeeping regime hit and miss you never know when the rooms are cleaned and bedding changed if at all didnt happen during the stay. Being out of season Obzor closes a lot of restaurants similar to that of the resort.The service is pretty poor . Served warm cans of beer from the bar when they ran out of draught.12 lev for 2 cans , tried to complain just ignored, compared to town prices the resorts are pretty hefty in comparison to prices in Obzor Town. Services like the shuttle which you are reliant on is not available from 16/9/24 they dont tell you or communicate so its a Taxi or walk into Obzor Town.The service resumes when the holiday season starts. Really disappointed

Overall, it's a nice enough hotel, but it's not the 4* that's advertised and it's quite tired in places. We stayed in a 3 bed apartment, which was slvery spacious, double aspect and fairly well appointed. However, lots of things are broken (lights, mosquito screens), windows don't seal fully, there are little bits of kitchen stuff that weren't there (chopping boards, tin openers etc.) and curtains are useless apart other things. Hot water in both showers wasn't issue provided you left a key in the power slot and left the hot water switches on. Air con worked fine. Rooms are not cleaned unless you put a door hanger up, but they do change towels, bring toilet paper and change bins every day. Bed linen was vegetal clean, but pillows felt like they were stuffed with cotton wool balls. Rooms get very sandy, but then the only people who brought sand in were us, and there's a hoover provided, so... In terms of the communal areas, the pools are plenty big enough, sunbeds were usually available, and it was never too noisy. That said, the main pool was always full of sand, as was the kids pool, and I'm not convinced the filters worked. Lots of tiles missing, filter covers, and several people fell through the pool surround (though this was always fixed quickly). The lifeguards might as well have not been there, but this seems pretty normal across the country. The crazy golf is unplayable, but the kids club was really good - that said, it's advertised as 10-12, but in reality you have to sit around whilst they dance around the pool and can't sign them in until 10.15, and they want them gone by 11.45. If you do not sign them in they get turfed out to wander the resort on their own; fine for my 9 yr old, less so for 5 yr olds though... The bar staff were lovely, but the prices were ridiculous - the drink prices in the on site supermarket were about half. The reception staff were 50:50 - some were lovely, the others could be at best described as hostile. Many of the apartments are owned outright, and the owners are not massively keen on tourists, and seem to have their own rules to follow. The beach is fantastic, and the highlight of the resort, but it's never going to be described as quiet. Would I go back? I wouldn't avoid it, but I'd probably not pick it again.

Я хочу поделиться своими впечатлениями об отдыхе в отеле "Обзор Бийч Резорт", а именно о работе аниматоров. С первых дней нашего пребывания в отеле мы почувствовали тёплую и дружелюбную атмосферу, которую создавали аниматоры. Их энергия и энтузиазм были просто невероятными! Дневные мероприятия, такие как аквааэробика, пляжный волейбол и различные конкурсы, всегда проходили на высоком уровне и привлекали большое количество гостей. Аниматоры умело вовлекали в активности людей всех возрастов, делая это с чувством юмора и позитивом. Вечерние шоу-программы заслуживают особого упоминания. Каждое выступление было тщательно подготовлено, с отличной музыкой и хорошим настроением. Гости могли во время различных шоу показывать свои таланты не только в танцах и пении, но и в актерской игре, что делало шоу настоящим праздником. Для детей была организована отдельная программа с разнообразными играми, мастер-классами и мини-дискотеками. Наши дети были в восторге от занятий и каждый день с нетерпением ждали встречи с любимыми аниматорами. Особенно хочется отметить дружелюбие и внимательность аниматоров. Они всегда были готовы помочь, ответить на вопросы и поддержать хорошее настроение у всех гостей. Спасибо команде аниматоров за незабываемый отдых и массу положительных эмоций! Вы действительно делаете отдых незабываемым!

Nous sommes venus avec nos enfants et grands parents début août 2024. Nous avons pris un appartement pour 6 au top au dernier étage, vue mer et coline. L'appartement est très propre, avec climatisation, eau chaude sans problème, deux salles de bain super pratique. Piscine devant, la mer devant la résidence, le restaurant all inclusive à côté. Station très calme, des animations toute la journée : bingo, water polo, volley, gym, aquagym, pétanque, mini-golf, volley, foot. L'équipe animation au top. Le soir à partir de 10h le calme absolu, c'est hyper reposant. On a visité l'hôtel à coté qui était 2 fois plus cher et il y avait tant de monde....alors qu'ici c'est juste le bon compromis. Les repas sont variés, par contre les gâteaux pas super et les boissons, comme partout...au distributeur. Il y a aussi des pizzas au goûter, des fruits. Les boissons et l'eau en libre service toute la journée. En conclusion, c'est un endroit pour ceux qui veulent avoir tout à côté et en même temps éviter une foule de tourisme de masse comme dans les hôtels à côté. Un grand merci à l'équipe animation ! Vous êtes géniaux ! Bravo. On adore notre séjour. Ooooooleeeeeeeee!
