This place was magical! We, as a couple, thoroughly enjoyed this incredibly special place, surrounded by nature and beautifully decorated—everything came together perfectly. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic! Everyone was incredibly friendly and cheerful, and last but not least: this place has the most beautiful sunset! The best holiday so far.

This was a truly wonderful stay, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with amazing service! Just what I wanted for my birthday! Nuno and Phoebe, the owners, are delightful hosts with great taste. The landscape and decoration is just what I look for in these types of places. It’s very close to the ocean and has some hiking trails overlooking the sea. The pool is beautiful. But the wood fired sauna overlooking a valley and the ocean was the cherry on top of the cake for me! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for me and it was just amazing here, from the presentation to the quality and selection of ingredients. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and it was stunning food, very well prepared by Phoebe, who is a wonderful cook! I most definitely recommend this place and plan to return!

Amaria was incredible! Such a beautiful experience of genuine hospitably and an impeccable property. The breakfast was so delicious and the hosts were so kind and accommodating. The environment invites you to relax and the beauty of it all is so soothing. I highly recommend.

So pleasantly surprised! We stayed 4 nights at Amaria. The entire Amaria team is extremely hospitable and attentive. We felt at home from day one and were spoiled daily with a luxurious breakfast. Their personal approach was also pleasant. Our wedding anniversary did not escape their attention! We received recommendations for excellent restaurants and interesting excursions.

Outstanding hotel! We loved every minute of this special place! The grounds are spectacular, the food is amazing big, the staff are all incredibly kind and attentive and the location is awesome. Do the sling’s Trail, book. Visit in the sauna, and definitely reserve dinner on property! Chloe is an outstanding cook and we loved our meals on site. Can’t speak more highly of this property! 6 stars out if 5!

The location is gorgeous and Fernanda is a sweetheart, but soundproofing is nonexistent. I was able to hear every footstep and every dialogue in the other rooms and even in the kitchen at early morning hours. Certainly took away from the "peaceful retreat" vibe. If I were a light sleeper or one requiring silence, this might not be it. Shame though because otherwise it is rather quaint.

The best accomodation we have been to! If you are looking for a secluded and peacefull place, this is the right place for you. Very kind and warm staff, amazing chef - big and tasty breakfasts and great dinners! Glutenfree bread and homemade cake for afternoon tea. Our room was very spatious, comfortable bed, nice fireplace. Definitely not our last visit. Thank you for everything!

We stayed two nights at Amaria. It is a wonderful place. Even though the weather was not very good, we enjoyed the surroundings, took a long walk. And enjoyed the pool (cold) and the sauna with a great view. Phoebe (one of the owners) made us both lunch and dinner, and it was very delicious. Everybody made us feel very welcome. We can’t recommend this place enough😁

The whole resort is great! Including the surrounding landscape so beautyfull! Our best recommendation to relax and start excursions along the coast, bays and the whole algarve. Not to forget the sauna with the lovely view into the nature with the sea in the background!
