This place is so tranquil. If you want peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and everything is fresh. There pool was great and the staff friendly and helpful.

Extraordinary experience. Quiet. Secluded. Superfriendly and helpful owner. Super frinedly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very beautiful setting in general. Beautiful interior decoration. Attention to details, like port wine in the room, manicured garden....simply a great place to be and to return to

Very well appointed accommodations. Modern with a retro twist. Weather was awful and the underfloor heating was very welcome! Option to light a log burner too. Great welcome from Andre. Beautiful garden and pool. Although a little chilly in March. The breakfast included was amazing! Well done the MDC team 😍

Loved this little resort near the coastal towns of south western Portugal. Very convenient for many day trips and close (5-30 minutes) to very good restaurants. The room was very clean and comfy, breakfast buffet was awesome with made to order eggs if you want them. However if you are an early riser, breakfast doesn’t start til 8:30. They do have a small menu to order through out the day but only til 5:30. I definitely recommend this as a peaceful and comfy stay.

One of the best experiences on our Portugal trip. Stuff was super friendly, the friend eggs were between the best I have eaten so far. All tools were clean and got cleaned every day. The garden and the pool were amazing to relax your mind and body.

Outstanding quiet location on a beautiful landsite. Pleasant & stylish built. Few rooms guarantee privacy. Very kind and helpful staff. Loved to chatter about this and that! Even though the site is situated all alone in the wilderness, you can reach gorgeous beaches such as „praia de Odeceixe“ easily in 10 minutes by car. Coming again for sure

Beautifully designed hotel. So peaceful with the lounge chairs around the terrace and pool. Excellent breakfast with gluten free options. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the pool from a distance.

It’s a unique country hotel. We fully appreciated the fresh air, tranquility and the Portuguese countryside during our stay. Beautiful stars at night are amazing plus! The hotel is a bit away from the town but we were introduced many great restaurants not too far from the property upon check in. We were quite happy with the two local restaurants within a walking distance, especially the seafood restaurant introduced by the hotel staff. Breakfast at the hotel was great too.
