I stay at this Travelodge every year when on holiday and to visit family. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The staff were friendly and nothing seemed too difficult. Terri, the manager and Scott, the supervisor, were welcoming and friendly. Terri was so patient and helpful with what we thought was a minor WiFi glitch. I paid for an additional WiFi add-on and although she was unable to initially help, she guided me through the steps of contacting the Travelodge WiFi service. I did this and the professional team that handles your WiFi quickly and efficiently solved the issue. I had a lovely stay and holiday and have booked again to return very soon. I believe that a hotel stay makes the holiday…and hats off to the staff here to help make my stay memorable in the best way!

I thought Travelodge would be grim. Anything but. Shout-out to the reception and cleaning staff. Clean, functional and safe. WiFi was okay. Helpful and prompt when we asked for an extra towel because our three bed room and occupancy had two.

Nice rooms and well appointed; simple but comfortable. The lack of a restaurant was offset to a degree by Greggs and BK colocated and a Waitrose at the services next door, but eating anything else requires a drive to one of a number of pubs or hoslteries close by.

We had a great stay here. The staff were all kind and friendly, the view from the bedroom was lovely over fields with lambs and donkey in. Also it was very quiet and of course we had the usual comfy bed and great night's sleep.

Reception staff were exceptionally welcoming. I have stayed at this Travelodge a few times and always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Ideal place very quiet. Nice strolls over the road and lovely pub. The beautiful smiling lady on Friday 11th April at 6:30am was so happy and positive we commented in the vehicle how happy she made us both feel for the long 400mile drive home. Defo be back next time travelling down for work

Needed a cheap room and a good night sleep. This ticked the boxes, there wasn't anything fancy about it but I wouldn't expect that for the price. Would definitely consider staying again

Staff very good, but the place itself is a bit tired. It’s in a good location, with a well stocked garage shop next to it.

On our way to Bodmin and needed a break - Sourton Cross was ideal. Nice grounds, first class staff and service, fantastic value and plenty of space in room. Burger King was open to 9pm even on a Sunday but there was a Waitrose too at the petrol station. Breakfast was at an excellent Greggs. Great stop over.
