I arrived at the Marilis Hill resort Hotel in Turkey with my 10‑month‑old baby at 3 AM, exhausted from travel and hoping for a smooth check‑in. Instead, I was met by a receptionist who was ASLEEP at the desk. When he finally woke up, he looked confused and disoriented and took ages to acknowledge my presence. He then told me there were no rooms available — despite me having a confirmed and fully paid booking. I was left waiting in the lobby with my tired, hungry, and distressed baby for hours. I was told I had to wait until 9 AM for the manager, who never arrived. Meanwhile, people came in after me and were given rooms immediately, even though I was promised one. Every time I asked about my room, I was told it was still “being cleaned” — this went on for hours. Around 12 PM, completely exhausted, overwhelmed, and in tears, I demanded to speak with the manager. When she finally appeared, she was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking
