"The location of the hotel is very good. It is close to the expressway. In the rest station of the expressway, the convenience store and KFC fast food restaurant are right next to the hotel. The service is very good and the parking is free."

"There is no pressure in the shower, the water is running very slowly, the toilet is dirty, the toilet seat is broken, the room is hot despite the open window, strong ventilation or some air conditioning indicated, no coffee, tea in the room, you have to go to the reception for it and this is another building, and in the morning after a hard night it is not nice to go anywhere without coffee or tea, at the reception service nice, despite the details, price ok, location also about 12 minutes by car from the center"

"Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed and spacious room for the price. The Beefeater restaurant told me they couldn’t accept walk in customers because they were running out of food. This was only 6pm! Very frustrating. I had to order delivery."

"I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area."

"The hotel was really food, the only issue i had was with the transportation from newport to cardiff which is not hotel’s fault, but just something to keep in mind. The public transportation is really bad on the weekends"
